St Annes was a nice relaxed site, with friendly wardens Hazel and Ron, who run this inviting site and sociable fellow caravanners , tenters willing to give help and advice on places to visit.
One clean mixed shower block giving free hot water all day. Plenty of hook ups to go around. There is no shop on site, but a small Spar and post office are a few miles away, for those little bits. Bournemouth is around 10 miles, east of St Annes, with it's sandy beaches and long sea side walks. With Poole being some 20 miles or so way. Other delights include the Tank muesum at Bovington, Corfe Castle, this a very pritty little village which featured in the TV program 'Mary queen of shops' is a quaint treat. You are able to visit the castle (fee payable) run by the National Trust.
There are numerous local markets, held on different days of the week, one being Wimbourne,a large car boot on a Sunday, serves the bargin humter out there, this is just a few miles back towards the A31.
The site does need a little TLC, there are no facilities for children on site and the site next to the main road, which leads from the A31/M27 however, we will be returning next year to saviour once more the calm and quite delights of this small but adequate site.

My wife and I went to St Annes Cottage for a number of years. We usually went to Studland during the day.
The only reason we stopped going there was because my wife decided not to go on holiday with me. I really miss going there, and she does too I Think.
Although it is the only 'nudist' (camp site) we have been to, I could find no fault with the site. Reg & Hazel made a good site Perfect.
The site is quiet. The facilities are just what we want. (If Reg or Hazel read this, Thank you for Some wonderful holidays)
