WOW a hidden little gem. No facilities but the view makes it all worth while. Ask the owner for some fresh eggs beautiful. Pub at bottom of the road, however pricey but lovely beer garden.
Little shop open from early til 6pm 7 days a week again pricey and limited stock.
Butcher open tues to sat morning do a fab bacon butty, they also do a take away and will deliver free to the site.
Will definitely be going back to this adults only site.

Spent 3 nights at this site and wish we could have stayed longer. The 5 pitches are all hard and very spacious. The views are amazing and the location was ideal for us as we could walk to robin hoods bay and boogle hall.
The only downfall for us was that there is no toilet/shower block and although we have a toilet in our tourer we haven't a shower but for £13 a night what can we expect.
There is a lovely pub only 5 minutes walk away called fillingdales inn that did amazing food and drinks and one a bit further round with amazing views over robin hoods bay.
Owners was very friendly and helpful.
Can't wait to return to this beautiful campsite.

Lovely quiet friendly five van sight with fantastic views, Great for walking- especially the coastal path to Whitby - there is a bus back for those who do not want to walk back that stops in the village pub. Local pub a five minute walk in the village Robin Hoods Bay approx a fifteen minute walk.
As others have said a real back to basics site with no toilet/shower block which isn't a problem as you have these on a van anyway. Dog friendly

Very nice little site, Firstly it was nice to be greeted by the owner who kindly showed us where things are. Very neat and tidy pitches looks very well maintained. Some really great views of Robing Hoods bay which is only a stone throw away.
If you using satnav from Pickering area and you get to Blue Bank (i think it's called) be careful as it could send you onto some narrow and steep roads NOT FOR CARAVANS REALLY.

Stayed at Croftlands for 2 nights at this great site, wish it could have been longer! The site is basic, no toilets or showers but the views are fantastic! As other reviewers have said, the views are across Robin Hoods Bay towards Ravenscar. It is also an adult only site, I guess this is due to the limited facilities.
On arrival we were met by the friendly owner who showed us where the water tap, CDP and recycling/rubbish bins were. The pitch also had a reserved sign on with our surname on which I thought was a nice touch. It means you can take the camper off site without losing your pitch, which can be annoying at other places.
The site is in Fylingthorpe and it is best approached on the B1447 signposted High Hawsker then follow sign at a right turn for Fylingthorpes. There are other approaches to Robin Hoods Bay/Fylingthorpes but DO NOT TAKE THESE ROUTES. These routes are fine for cars but will be very difficult in campervans, motor homes and caravans.
Fylingthorpe is a great little village with a well stocked shop, butcher/takeaway and a pub that serves food. Fylingthorpe runs into Robin Hoods Bay which has a good selection of pubs/cafes and a very busy chippy. Whitby is only 5 miles away if you need to visit a supermarket (Co-op).
If going on the beach at Robin Hoods Bay, check the tide times as it is very easy to find yourself in bother. The best thing to do is keep your eye on the ice scream van on the beach and when he starts moving off the beach, follow him.
I love Robin Hoods Bay/Flylingthorpe/Whitby (especially Goth weekend) area as there is so much to do/see. There really is something for everyone!
I'm really pleased we visited this site and we will definitely be returning, hopefully soon!

I've used this site several times since it opened a couple of months ago.
Fabulous views of Robin Hoods Bay, spacious pitches. Quiet location.
CS site so no tents, only 5 vans allowed all with EHU.
No toilets or showers, however the location makes a visit worthwhile.
A minute walk from the Fylinthorpe Village shop, a butcher that does evening take-away home-made pizzas /burgers ( fab ), and the Fylingdales Inn pub. 10 minute walk from Robin Hood's Bay village.
This site is Adult only.
Friendly hosts very obliging as I book a particular pitch and its always labelled out for me on arrival.
Great for solo campers/couples who want a quiet time with fab views.

What a super super little site. I believe we were the first unit to use it as it was newly opened. O.K their was no toilet block but it was only a 5 van site and we were told by the lovely owners when we booked. The views were to die for overlooking Robinhood bay. The pub at the bottom of the road 4/5 mins walk was nice too, good food, lovely beer garden. Well worth a visit!
