We keep going back :even spent our honeymoon there.Clean well maintained site,peaceful with beautiful views.
Carol & Gareth are most helpfull and very knowledgeable on anything to do with the area.Well recomended !

This is a lovely site on a working farm suitable for anyone wanting a quiet, rural, secluded setting in Snowdonia.The owners, Carol and Gareth are very welcoming and can give you plenty of info on the area. The pitches are next to the farmhouse in a small field, which is sheltered by bushes and natural rocky outcrops, and there are beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from the campsite. A few picnic tables are also provided.
In the main washroom,there are two showers and two toilets per sex, plus handbasins with hot/cold water, mirrors and shelves.Showers are 10p for two minutes. Don't expect luxury, these are purely functional but during our visit were spotlessly clean. Fresh drinking water is provided by a standpipe.
There's also a dishwashing/food prep. area, washing machine(10p pieces-don't know how long you get!) spin dryer and tumble dryer.
You can buy milk, eggs and matches from the farm and the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed is only about two miles away where you can get anything else you need-plenty of outdoor shops here, plus a wide variety of places to eat.
You don't have to book ahead but its a good idea if you have a large group or want to make sure you get an electric hook up, as its a small site.
