Just returned from the bank holiday weekend at this site. Facilities very basic and would be classed as clean had other people taken a bit of trouble to clean up after themselves, is it really that difficult to use the squeegee on the floor after you shower? Problem in the ladies shower as the bracket which holds the shower head was broken, apparently site were aware but 'the man who deals with that would not be in till Wednesday', which made showering a bit awkward. Also the door to outside does not open and close very well so it was often left ajar and the room filled with biting midges, even found an enormous slug on the floor!

The Garden centre was good, especially the cafe with good home cooked food.

There is evidence of new facilities in progress which would be a great improvement, but think they might be a long time coming as work seemed to have stopped, what a shame.

Lovely old orchard and could be a great site if a little investment was made and running repairs done.

We stayed at this site for a week.

The site is peaceful (child free) & friendly with some permanent residents who made us very welcome, I liked the community feel.

Facilities are clean but basic, which is reflected in the price & therefore does give good value for money.

The garden centre cafe sells reasonably priced food (I am a fussy eater, but loved the food!), and the staff are helpful & polite.

My only criticism is the lack of hot water for hand washing.

There is 1 male shower & toilet and 1 female shower & toilet on the site (all clean), but whilst there is hot water for the shower, there is no hot water tap on the sink to wash your hands. We were in a caravan which has hot water - so this was fine, however, we used to have a tent and I'm not sure how I would have felt then.

I should mention that there are more facilities available when the garden centre is open though.

Overall I would say great value for money, lovely atmosphere and I would recommend a visit.

A fairly large campsite set in an orchard behind the garden centre. The site is large so units are fairly spread out.

Nothing for kids to do (other than chase the rabbits) so it is as advertised, adult only.

Facilities are basic, one toilet, handbasin, shower for each of male and female, but clean.

Further toilets available in the garden centre during opening hours.

Owners are friendly and helpful.

The garden centre has a cafe that opens at 8. 30am and does a good breakfast and meals throughout the day.

The location is handy for Cambridge and IWM Duxford.

Pubs and shops about a mile away.

We would definitely stay there again.
