Lovely site in a brilliant position. Each plot is nestled in between the orchard trees. Couple of loos in each of the separate male and female cubicles with one shower connecting the two. No pot washing facility. Spotlessly clean. Very friendly owners, who couldn’t do enough for you, recommending walks in the area. Bus stop not far away.
Lovely village with shop and pub.

This site is great. A true and honest Campsite. Fantastic location in a cider apple orchard which is very picturesque. Good basic and clean amenities (large porta-cabin with shower and toilets) lovely friendly and helpful owners. Not a big site and beautifully kept. Good quite location. Quite near a shop, post office and 2 pubs all in walking distance. Good flat pitches. We loved it. Glastonbury and Street are only 15 mins away in the car.

A very neat and secluded country site situated in a cider orchard.
Facilities are in a small Portacabin type unit which houses a shower unit together with washbasins and wc's, very clean and tidy. Also with small information boards.
Chemical disposal point and fresh water tap nearby.
Some recyling facilities.
Previous reports comment on the tight entrance to the site but this has now been extensively widened.
There are 6 EHU's in total in the slightly sloping well mown grass area with plenty of room in other areas if EHU is not required.
Several footpaths are close by into the local fields for dog walking.
The local well stocked shop is a 5 min drive away, Glastonbury and Street (with Clarks Shopping village) are some 4 miles away.
Very helpful and friendly owner who turned up at 8. 30am on our morning of departure with Landrover to assist in towing of site due to heavy overnight rain, most helpful.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this site if you are looking for somewhere 'away from it all'.

A very neat and tidy camp site with minimum but good facilities; toilets and wash basins (very clean), drinking water, chemical toilet disposal and rubbish bins. Approximately 6 pitches with electric but plenty of others without nestled amongst the apple trees. The ground is firm well kept grass but a little uneven, which can easily be dealt with by a block under the wheel.
The site owner lives across the road and should be contacted by phone on arrival.
The site and area are quiet with ready access to a number of public footpaths and very enjoyable walks. The local pub is an 8 minute walk, is dog friendly, and serves good beer, cider and food.
Glastonbury and Street are 4 miles away with a wide array of shops for all needs. Wells is a further 4 miles but well worth the visit; every Aug Bank Holiday Monday is the raft race on the moat of the Bishop's Palace, great fun, and the Cathedral is a marvel of engineering and stone masonry apart from the other things cathedrals do.
If coming from the A303, follow the directions provided by the camp site, they are perfect for a caravan.

Spent a lovely weekend at this lovely tranquil site.
It was charming watching the rabbits in the evening and seeing the sheep and lambs.
The owner was very helpful upon booking the site and also told us about the pub which was nearby and a shop in the village.
The site itself is quite small but well laid out with the electrics near to hand and drinking water nearby too. The toilet block was very clean and basic but we didn't require anything other than this. I feel once the shower block is up and running this lovely site will feel the benefit of it.
The only drawback that some people may find a problem is its a bit of a tight squeeze to enter and exit the site but again we didn't face any problems with this in our 2 berth caravan.
All in all its been a peaceful and pleasurable stay and we are returning next weekend.
