This was our first time camping and were lucky enough to get booked in for 4 nights up to bank holiday monday. Friendly reception. basic facilities with the tents being in a sheltered field. Only draw back was the road along side the campsite which had cars zooming along it well into the night! We were also very lucky with the weather and each night expected "neighbours" but none materialised. It turned out 2 large parties had not turned up so we more or less had place to ourselves. Only thing I would say is that there isnt an awful lot for kids at this site though I would stay again if it was just a very short visit.

May 2005 Very friendly reception. Camping field quite uneven and even though we paid for electric hook-up £10 per night. You cannot use heaters, kettles or microwaves as the electric trips out. On quite a cold weekend the heater would have been nice. The only shower in the Ladies toilets became very grimy, perhaps leaving a mop available to use would make this a more pleasant experience! The Bear pub, very pleasant food, good service, average beer and the Sheaf and Sickle, good beer, but more of chip shop, food not always available as stated.

August 2004 Our family (mum, dad and 2 boys) camped for 5 days. Friendly reception, considerate camping neighbours, clean showers, toilets and washing facilities. Boys liked saying hello to the frog in the bath beside the shower block, as well as the chickens who came to visit. Some ground was bumpy, and first potential pitch was already being used by ants, but in the end we chose a great spot. Local pubs were welcoming, with cricket team in full flight. Would definitely stay again.

May 2003 Two fields, one was quite cramped (caravans only, at the time), one was practically empty (caravans and tents). 6A electric hook up in both fields (although there were only three hook ups in the field which was empty).
Grass was freshly cut. Owner seems quite quiet but friendly. Facilites included dishwashing sink, Female washrooms (1 toilet and 1 shower) Mens washrooms (2 toilets, urinal and 2 showers) + washbasins.
On site tourer caravns can be hired, and so can rooms in the converted stables (they looked new + nice) Very quite, and quite protected from wind by surrounding hedges. £8 a night with electric was a bargin. Takes about 5 mins to get to Rugby city centre.

We enjoyed visiting Rugby and our stay at Lodge Farm. The facilities are all new. We stayed in our caravan but will make a booking for one of the holiday cottages in the autumn. Lovely people.
