Had a great 4 days at this lovely site. It is set out on 4 terraces, each one 'held back' by naturalised dry stone walling. There are also some large pine trees on site that were full of goldfinches whilst we were there. Shower block and loos were well kept and hot water free and plentiful. 20p for hot water for washing up - I could easily do the washing up for meal for a family of 4 on one coin.
The 2 upper levels have EHU, with the caravans up there it did seem a little noisier than on the 2 lower levels. (Nowhere near enough noise to stop us going back though)
The boys had plenty of new friends to get to know and all the kids had a great time playing in the small stream that skirts the site.
We had a lovely meal in the Queens Arms in Botallack and found a fantastic butcher in St Just.
All in all, a brilliant introduction to camping as a family - we're just a bit worried that wherever we go next won't live up to the standard set here!

Previously regular visitors to Lower Treave but we have not been for about 2 yrs.
At Lower Treave the atmosphere as always relaxed. The Owners are there for you when you need them and always pleased to help. Even when full the campsite is chilled with a family feel to it. We have just returned from a Bank Holiday Weekend where everyone enjoyed themselves, either on the beach walking to Lands end from near by Sennen Cove or climbing at Sennen and Bosigran.
The services on offer are perfect for the size of camp site. Any more and the campsite would be bigger and there for less inviting to us.
Weather was good to us this time but even when it has not been so good to us we always enjoy our visits to Lower Treave.

We have visited this site on many occasions and have found it very pleasant indeed.
If you're looking for an all action site then this one is not for you.It is a very peaceful site on 4 tiers with great views across farmland. There is a small shop with sells the basics.
The toilet/shower blocks are immaculate and very clean, with hairdryers as well.
The owners are very helpful and accommodating.
The only downside to this site is the price seems to be a bit more than others in the area, but,if you're looking for a peaceful, well kept site the extra couple of quid is worth it.
Next time we are camping in the area this site will be on my list to book.

Stayed for BH weekend - so site was busy but expected it to be. The site is tiered on 3 levels, so most pitches have a good view of the nearby farms. We enjoyed watching the farmer come and feed his pigs in the morning while we were having breakfast.
Location excellent, easy to get to Porthcurno, Sennen Cove, and St. Just for a bit of coastal path walking, and a bit of quiet surfing away from the noisy nightclub areas of Newquay etc.
Facilities newly re-furbished, and very clean. All facilities of a larger campsite, without the noise and entertainment. Even had a laundrette, and 'coffee while you wait' - a nice touch.
Grass on pitches kept exceptionally well, and all pitches nice and flat because of the terracing.
Would stay there again, especially if seeing a show at the Minack Theatre.

What a fantastic site! We were welcomed by the owner on arrival and he was extremely friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the size of our pitch having quite a large tent on some sites we`ve felt squashed but the pitch felt roomy. Facilities were usually clean, it was rainy for some of our stay so it would have been difficult to keep it spotless. One thing that could be improved is to have more hooks in the shower cubicles to hang your belongings up whilst showering. The computer room is very handy when your waiting for your washing to finish and there was always free coffee brewing, nice touch I thought! Sennon near by is gorgeous, had a lovely glass of wine at the Beach restaurant watching the sun set. Perfect!

A lovely quiet site, run by a family who really care about the place and their visitors. Really helpful when a major pole broke on my tent. Toilets were very clean, a decent amount of hookups and a small shop. Will be back again next year, for the 3rd year in a row!

August 2005 Excellent family friendly site on 4 levels. Quiet in the evenings. Small shop open all day. Good washing facilities and free clean showers. Owners very friendly and helpful. Only 10 - 15 minutes from fantastic beaches. Walk to top of hill gives views across to Scilly Isles and magnificent sunsets.

July 2005 This site is great. It is quiet and family friendly. It is not for those who want entertainment. If you want that, then please don't come here, you won't like it. Sennen is a great beach and the people who go there are family people. However it is popular, the waves are good, the lifeguards make it safe, the locals are wonderful, the beach cafe is amazing. Our kids love it here, really love it, it's hard to to get them to want anything abroad.

July 2004 This is a lovely, quiet, family-oriented campsite. Pitches are big and there are electrical hook-ups available. Toilet block very clean with free hot water for the showers. Fresh flowers by the basins. Body boards available to borrow and a good selection of books to borrow as well. Pitches are on terraces with sheep at the top and pigs at the bottom. Views over ploughed fields from our tent. People very pleasant- even patching up our daughter's knee when she fell off her bike. Negative points- no children's playground and lots of nettles in the verges. Would recommend this site to families and we will be going back.

August 2003 Lovely campsite - reasonably priced.
There are four levels of camping all of which are quiet and have plenty of space. The grass is mown and the showers are fine. There is no children's play area as such but they are allowed to ride bikes anywhere and there are loads of trees and pigs at the bottom of level 4. We came upon this site by chance and I would definitely come here again. Sennen cove is lovely and there is an ancient village to explore in this area as well.
