Have visited this site twice. Lovely site and the toilets and showers were very clean. Large carp in the carp lake. My husband enjoyed the fishing but was very disappointed that the fishing finished at 9. 00 pm when it did not go dark for another hour.
I can understand day ticket finishing as they shut the gate at 9. 00pm, but would have expected fishing until at least dusk for those staying on the site.

Third visit to this lovely site. Great cafe with friendly staff and good food and prices. Ready to book again if only my husband knew when he was off work again. He is a keen fisherman and caught about 50lbs on his first evening followed by two more evenings with plenty more fish. The showers and toilets are clean and new. Don't want to say too much more or we may not be able to get on again.

Lovely peaceful adults-only site with a little cafe that serves very good reasonably-priced food. The pitches are huge and the lakes very picturesque. Toilet facilities and chemical disposal point very basic but that's a minor point. Shops and pubs (the first of which serves great beer) in the village only ten minutes walk away. We loved that it was so quiet and pitch-black at night - no light pollution!Fishing hugely successful, especially on the carp lake. We would definitely return here and, what's more, the dog loved it too!

Just returned from a very enjoyable 3 week stay at oasis lakes. Stayed on the cl site very large level pitches although not hard standing but very fast draining so no problem in wet weather, 16 amp hook ups nice shower and toilet facilities a must when we Book any site, easy access plus the site is very well sheltered from any strong winds as sits alongside a pine forest. The staff who work on this site are all very nice from the owners to the girls in the cafe and not forgetting Harvey ray's apprentice. Now down to the important bit the fishing 3 lakes all of which I fished, had 3 carp over 20lbs plus many high doubles on the carp lake, plus good bags of fish from both roadside and the island ponds, first visit but already booked 2 weeks in November to see the seals at Donna nook, and have a go for the large pike?

We tried to book the CL for the Caravan Club at Oasis Lakes, but it was full, therefore we stayed at the adjacent site and paid a little more £17 per night. Well worth the extra, we were closer to the lake! We had shade in the morning and afternoon sun. The site was well looked after with toilets and showers near the cafe. The fishing was fabulous and we just paid a little extra for fishing odd hours instead of the daily rate. We visited Louth, Cleethorpes and Mablethorpe. We will certainly be back. This is an Adults only site.

What a lovely site. It is well maintained and the owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about fishing and the local area. The pitches are large and well drained and set amongst trees quite close to the fishing lakes, so there is not too far to carry your fishing gear.
There is some road noise during the day but at night time it was very quiet. The RAF also fly some of their jets very close by at Donna Nook.
There are two small supermarket style shops in the village as well as a post office and a butchers that sell both meat and bread - their lamb and mint pie was very, very tasty. There is also a small cafe on the site and we can recommend their paninis. We had the local pub recommended to us but we never had time to pay a visit.
There are some very large fish in the lakes but they were a little shy during our vist, perhaps another time we'll have more luck. There are plenty of walks in the area and a book of these can be obtained from the site owners.
The only downside to this site is that it is popular with other fishermen and the pitches are quite close by and not fenced off separately, however the main gates are locked overnight.
Would we return to this site - most definitely.
