We stayed in the rally field on an MCC rally.
All pitches had mains hookup, plenty of water & waste points plus Elsa point at top of field.
Beautiful spot with amazing views over the Firth.
Bus stop at entrance to Upper & Lower Largo, other side of road buses to St Andrew’s.
About a 10/15 minute walk to nearest pub & restaurant.
On site restaurant, open at weekend, is very good.

I have always wished to stay at this Site but unfortunately it was always booked and I can fully understand why.
A truly awesome site with absolutely breathtaking uninterrupted views all round and certainly NOT overpriced liked so many others.
Alastair Munro (Site Warden) was extremely helpful and friendly and we were so sorry that we were only staying one night and will most definitely be returning as it is Adults Only which suits us perfectly.
We also really wish to sample the food in the Restaurant but it is only open on a Friday and Saturday at present but hopefully that may change as I believe the Food is outstanding and we certainly hope to get a Table Booked and return to this lovely place.

Very well run campsite with excellent views over the Firth of Forth.
Easy road access to other areas of Fife.
Host made us very welcome.
Food in attached restaurant excellent although only open Fridays and Saturdays due to staffing level - they hope this will improve soon.

Have stayed at this site a good few times now and we keep returning because Duncan and his staff cannot be faulted.
The site is fairly high and is on a gentle slope with fantastic views over the Forth estuary.
The facilities are good and the showers are currently being upgraded.
The food in the restaurant is first class and served by friendly and attentive staff.
Overall cannot be faulted- we will be booking again after the golf !

We stayed at Monturpie for 2 nights. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The toilets and shower areas were very clean.
We didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on site but will definitely try it on our next visit.
It’s only a 10 minute walk to the village hotel which serves lovely food and has great friendly service.
We took the bus, which stops right outside the site, into St. Andrews, this was a 10 minute journey.
Has lovely views over the Forth. Nice wee place that we would certainly recommend.

Recently returned from 6 wonderful nights at Monturpie….
…… we wrote a review many years ago, but feel it deserves another!
We like the peaceful and relaxing location that this adult only site offers and always receive a good welcome from helpful owners Duncan and Linda.
The views from the site are magnificent and although it is in a semi rural location, it is also very central for touring an interesting and picturesque area. If you enjoy walking there are lovely coastal paths nearby.
There is also a bus service at the entrance of the site.
Thank you again for a wonderful stay …. And we look forward to returning to Monturpie! 😊

Staff were friendly. No problems with our late night check in.
5 mins from the golf course we were playing at.
The view in the morning for the sunrise was really nice.

Excellent site for views and location.
Full facilities not available due to time of year and Covid19 restrictions.
Plenty of waste disposal units and water taps and pitches mostly level.
Good for those with a dog as a good dog walk area.
Nearby to hotels with good food and drink.
Close to coast and Fife Coastal Path.
