 From the moment we booked to the moment we left it was brilliant!
The owners just cannot do enough for you.
The pitch was in a great position.
The facilities were spotless.
Everything geared to our comfort and prevention of any problems with covid-19.
Lots of instructions and antibacterial wipes available everywhere.
We loved it so much we are returning in 6 days for a further 9 days.

A fabulous site, fabulous hosts, fabulous facilities- what more can I say. It’s not our first time but we do come back year after year.
This time, we decided on a weekend away after being released from lockdown, had 7 vans with lots of children and dogs. Hosts were very accommodating and put us all together.

Would recommend this site
Very pleasant, clean and tidy, grass cut all over site.
Enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
Very convenient to visit Woodhall Spa and Horncastle. In the Middle of Bomber County, what more could one ask for.

Had a lovely time here with our children, last minute bank holiday booking was accommodated by Caroline who was super friendly and helpful, and even managed to ensure we had electric hook up
We had sole use of the paddock which facilitated us perfectly, with the children having plenty of space to ride bikes and play.
Toilets/shower washing up area clean and tidy.
Will definitely be making a return visit. Wish we could of stayed for longer 😁

Just arrived home after 5 days at Stockshill caravan park a warm welcome from the warden that showed us where stuff was on site this site as a lot going for it
The site is tidy and very clean
The toilet was clean and tidy
Fishing was good
just a word of warning the road out side the camp site is 30mph
But a lot of the cars passing was not doing 30mph so pulling out with or without the van on the back could be tricky
(not a lot to do for the kids on site )

Site is quite new and is still changing but it is a very pleasant place to stay. The facilities are basic but always clean and tidy and the owners are really helpful. During a 1940's theme week in town they ran a taxi service for their campers. There is a coffee and home made cake 'tea room'. We are trying to Rebook for this year.

Visited this site for a three night Easter break.
It was a wet day when we arrived and the grass had been cut the day before without the facilities on the mower to pick up the clippings which over the weekend spread not only into the caravan but also the amenities block which was not swept out for over three days.
We had requested a hard standing pitch with EHU, a lot of poetic licence is obviously used to describe the hard standing areas, small and overgrown with moss, we arrived and had to ask for two piles of dog poo to be removed before we could unhitch the caravan.
Having read all the positive reviews we were a little disappointed with the standard of the amenities but saying that the site is very pretty and the proprietor is most helpful.
The little cafe serves up some excellent food, we would go back again if in the area but in our opinion there needs to be more attention to detail!

I am a regular visitor to this site because it's handy for a week-end away. Excellent site and excellent facilities. Nothing too much trouble but then again the owners also leave you to it, a small tea room has opened up this year and boy you need to try the homemade cakes and scones! Lovely log cabin for showering. Oh and one more thing excellent for cycling.

Very well kept and amazingly spacious site, new toilet and shower block, a very welcoming owner, just perfect for us in every way. We were allowed to stay on site for as long as we wanted on the final day. Woodhall Spa is not five minutes away and a more charming, elegant town you will not find in Lincolnshire. We went to the heated outdoor pool, to the 1920's Kinema which was charming and walked the former railway alongside the River Witham which was just the best on a sunny day. Highly recommended at £12 a night with EHU. More than twice the price everywhere down the road.
