Enjoyed three glorious nights here in the middle of March.
The pitches are alongside a creek with views across towards Carew Castle. Each pitch has its own water supply and drain so no water carrying required :o)
There is a small dog walk, but we preferred to exit the site and walk alongside the creek. Glorious! A circular walk from the site takes in Carew Castle and mill, with a lovely pub lunch in the pub garden by the castle at mid-point.
The village shop opposite tyhe site entrance is surprisingly good and there is a pub virtually in the grounds.
The toilet blocks were fairly old but kept clean and warm. There is even a separate bath for those with time to spare!
Site owners were friendly and helpful

Just had lovely long weekend on the site. Loo blocks nice and clean I like the bath for the kids.
On entering the site there's a small play area with swings fore the kids on the left and a nice pub on the right. Found teh owners very helpful.
There are two small shops across the road from the site

A friendly greeting on arrival. Stayed for 3 nights - £15 per night. The pitches are quite close together, but we were fortunate that no-one else stayed whilst we were there.
The setting is quiet and peaceful, backing on to an inlet that runs through marshland/field with an estuary just to the left.
The pitch had electricity, running water and a drain for waste water, all of which is wonderful to have those to hand.
There is a chemical waste disposal about 30 yards away.
The toilet block is questionable, a downside to this site and could be a lot better. It looks as though the owner has given up on it and needs a fresh coat of paint and a clean up. The shower itself was good with plenty of hot water. A pub, butchers and store are available in the village, 2 minutes walk away.
Would we be staying here again? - No. Would we recommend this to anyone else? - No. If the toilet block was cleaned up and given a new sparkle, would we recommend the site? - Yes.

This was my first visit and I will go back. The weather helped, but I really enjoyed visit. The owners really couldn't be more helpful without being intrusive. The location is superb for anywhere in south Pembs.
It is a small site with 12 pitches on compressed hardcore, backing onto a river pill. The only noise is that of the birds singing and visitors included a pair of swans and a heron on the stream. Each pitch had a hook up and individual water tap.
The facilities are dated but in impeccable condition, with little touches such as fresh flowers and selection of soaps and shampoos. The down side is that there is only one shower each for men and woman, but on the upside there is a bath. The site is well tended and gets a lot of returning visitors.
Dogs are welcome (kept on leads) and there is a small fenced walking area. There is a children's playground and field at the entrance to the park.
The Milton Brewery at the entrance is a very old pub which alas no longer brews its own beer, but serves very good ales nevertheless. It also serves very good food and has a welcoming atmoshere.
There are two well stocked shops within 100 yards, both offering fresh meat and most of what you need.

What a delightful place! The beaches and local attractions, eg, Carew Castle, Folly Farm, Oakwood, Bluestone and Heatherton are all within a 10 minute drive. The owners were more than happy to provide directions and local knowledge.
We chose a wonderful week as the weather was fab, if a trifle cold. We were on a gravel hard standing with great views across the tidal river. The bathroom facilities were more than adequate and nice and warm.
There is a park and ball play area within 100 yards.
There are two farm shops with wonderful fresh meat and local produce again within 100 yards.
There is also a lovely pub at the end of the drive which does real ale and home cooked food.

Our booking was made for four pitches for a family holiday, but on arrival we were separated, with one of the pitches at the top of a grassy hill with an unsuitable entrance and accessibility for caravans in wet weather. The pitches are described as hard standing, the pitch on the hill is grass only and the others are of a gravel nature not concrete as most of us caravanners expect. The lower pitches get saturated when you have heavy rain and at high tides the river overflows into the carpark and pitches.
The toilet facilities are shabby and in need of a facelift, there is no play area for children.
The owners were not that helpful and seemed only interested in the static owners.
There isn't much in the way of other facilities in the local area.
