Visit this site now 3 times this year and same in 2014. Very well maintained. You have to be weather beaten as let set up high and can get very windy and bleak at times so always have a thick wholly jumper with you whatever the time of year. The one shower is suitable but have noticed it could do with been cleaned a bit more seems to go days without been washed round or moped out. Also noticed some campers were taking dog into the shower room, needs sign stating no dogs allowed, the pub does get a bit loud on Fri and Sat but music does stop at 11. Think a weekend is long enough to spend here.

Second visit as have family locally. This is basically an extension of the pub carpark. It has great views. Shower and toilet open 24/7 but not always very clean. Pub can be noisy and caravan site area grass is shared with pub so there are children with footballs, dogs etc. Owners are nice but not available till 3pm so any problems on arrival have to wait till then.
Big issue for us is there is no motorhome disposal point so no where to empty before driving home. Even the caravanners on the site found it hard to lift full wastemasters up to tip in the raised empty point. We drove to family member locally to empty tanks but it was pain.
We might come back because of the location but we are looking for other sites with better facilities.

I've already reviewed this site but had to give another 10 out of 10 based on our revisit. Sometimes sites go 'downhill', so I feel another review after a revisit is always called for.
All I can say is. Again, this site is a credit to the owners. Standards have been maintained perfectly since our visit last year. They can't be improved upon, absolutely faultless.
We will be back again very soon.

Had a brilliant 4 nights so good we asked to stay another over Easter April 2014 and being disabled it was a quiet site except when bands are playing but you sleep through the noise it is not bad I'm a light sleeper and I slept. Shower and toilet (only one) was clean (only thing I didn't like) lack of curtain or blind at toilet/shower window.
The pub, Shop/post office and a cash machine are very close and the shop is open till 11pm. Family arrived Easter Monday and they enjoyed it. Could live there going back asap loved it. We could see the ships and watch the waves at sea. Dog walk close bye as well.

Stayed here for ten days while visiting family in Teesside, and will definitely be returning. The site is easily accessed (our van is 24' long)and is only a short distance from all major roads leading out of Teesside or to the North York Moors or coast. As already stated the shower, /toilet was spotless, the pitches are large and all serviced, clearly a lot of thought has been put into this site. There is a shop on the corner that sells everything! and it is only a ten minute at the most drive into Redcar. There is some noise from the pub, but to be honest not enough to moan about. We went to the quiz night twice and were made to feel very at home. A little belter of a site!

What a gem of a site! We were welcomed by a friendly lady who showed us around and gave us a choice of pitches. The area has enough room for 5 units and was hardstanding with lawns inbetween. There were also picnic tables and a well-organised electricity, water and refuse/waste system. Now to the toilet/shower facilities: the standard of which we have not come across other than in a 5 star hotel. The standard of finish, cleanliness, and supply of hot water/heating was a amazing.
The view is over Redcar and at night it was fascinating to look at the landscape lit up. There is a pub on site (not too noisy) and a shop open from 7am-11pm. Cars did come and go but did not disturb us.
This site is a credit to its owners. Well done!

Ideal location for North East coast. Clean modern facilities with excellent serviced pitches. Friendly and helpful owners who go out of their way to provide an enjoyable stay. The site is located behind the Yorkshire Lass pub where there is a variety of entertainment and friendly bar staff. The site also benefits from a well stocked shop only a two minute walk away that is open from early morning until late at night. We were the only caravan on site during our stay but I am sure that once the secret is out the site will soon fill.
