What an amazing summer, we were only supposed to be here for a few days. We were waiting for a date to move house. Even though we have had a stressful time over the house purchase, we have spent most of our summer on Mousley site which had been so enjoyable. So good, decided to stay until we had a moving date. The field is clean, amazing views, wonderful sunsets, pitches are big and spacious, lots of field for the children to play, and best of all amazing site owners, Simon and Gabby, so friendly, helpful and informative of things to do and where to eat in the area.
The facilities are basic, but clean and sufficient, they are palming to improve the facilities in due course.
They have Bell Tents an Retro Caravans to rent, which are great to rent.
During the summer, they bring the animals over to the site on a Saturday tea time, to give the children chance to hold and stroke. (I think the adults enjoyed having cuddles as well)
We have enjoyed watching the people come and go during the summer, met so many lovely people and children. Seeing the children play in the field with parents, friends and families catching up. People trying out their new caravans and tents for the first time, dads taking children away and providing the camping experience. Many people visiting, were going to Warwick Castle, seeing children worn out but all having a great experience.
The site is so well positioned for so many interest, Warwick castle, Stratford, Hatton locks, Kenliworth Castle, and much more.
Great old fashioned pub, 1/2 mile down the road, real ale, old fashioned opening times, no food. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
It is a summer we will never forget for so many good reasons, so pleased we found the site.
We will return, Thanks so much to Simon and Gabby and the animals of Mousley Farm. Xx

We arrived at this site on a Thursday afternoon, pitched up and went to find some tea (it was getting on). Approx three miles to Warwick and plenty of food outlets there! The site is one field and only just over a year old so plenty of work to be done as the owner admitted. The toilet and shower block are clean, reasonable showers (though unisex as mentioned in other reviews), but no hot water to shave in in the toilet block. NO WASHING UP FACILITIES, though again the owners have said that this is to be put right. Every pitch has EHU if you want it and I must say that the site is very good for peace and quiet, stunning views and very good ground for camping.
The only down side that I have is the cost, £12 per unit sounds good but when you add 3 people it becomes £18 and if you want EHU it then is £23 per night. Personally I feel that the site would be worth the price should it have more on it but not at the moment.
I will keep an eye on reviews in the future and see what improvements take place and would go back again because of the area and the friendliness of the owners.

Just spent a two day weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it, the owner is very friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble, the field is well laid out with plenty of space around and in front of pitches, the site is easy to find and access is good (don't follow sat-nav) use directions given by owner, the showers are clean with plenty of room and hot water and although only two was not a problem, the only down side is the unisex toilets which I think on a family site need replacing with separate male/female especially with children on site however this will not stop us recommending or returning to the site.

A lovely spacious site with plenty of room for the children to play and run around. Pitches are generous and well marked and the grass was cut nice and short.
Toilet facilities were basic but clean - visiting on a busy weekend they ran out of soap and paper towels quickly. The toilet block was unisex - moving forward two port-a-cabins to separate male and female would be a good improvement as would an electric point for a hairdryer and washing up facility etc. Liked the family shower area, two showers and plenty of space to get dressed.
At 5pm on the Sunday the owners bought rabbits and guinea pigs for the children to hold - this was a lovely touch and all of the children really enjoyed it.
Site location is good, not too far from the motorway. Local pub - the case is altered does not do food and children are not allowed in either - Went to Tom o'the wood in Rowington which was lovely as was the hatton arms. Hatton Locks are a must see.

A perfect location, away from the busy main roads and street lights.
We sat and stargazed each night :)
As others have mentioned, the facilities aren't modern BUT they are clean and perfectly serviceable, as a family with two young children we had no issues.
There are no 'washing up' facilities but we were not hindered by this, the idilic peaceful countryside in our opinion is better than a busy commercial site :)
Due to the limited number of pitches it makes for a nice friendly site.
It's a perfect base for Warwick, Stratford and surrounding areas.
None of us wanted to come away and we shall return next year, it's the best holiday we've had for a long time.

We visited this lovely site for a 2 night stay mid week. It was a little expensive compared to what we normally pay - £22 a night for 2 people and 1 dog, including EHU. Pitches are grass with a slight slope.
Toilets and showers were clean and spacious, showers lovely and hot with plenty of room for hanging things up and putting shower gel etc - it's one of my pet hates when there's nowhere to put your stuff in showers! The toilet block is also due to be upgraded, but is fine as it is anyway.
Location lovely - we took a walk in to Shrewley where there is a post office and shop, as well as a pub. Perhaps a leaflet explaining where all the nice walks are would be handy as we had to walk along some main road with no pavements which isn't ideal with a dog!
Customer service brilliant - I advise booking ahead, then the owner will come and find you to take payment etc. Really friendly people.
2 minor criticisms - the dogs on lead policy is strictly enforced, even during quiet periods, which was rather a pain as our dog constantly whinges when on the lead! I understand that loads of dogs running around could be chaotic, but when there's only 1 or 2 a bit of flexibility and common sense would go a long way. The other thing is that I didn't find any washing up point with hot water. Perhaps I missed it in which case it could have been pointed out. I really would expect to be able to wash up for the rates they are charging.
That said, this is a beautiful site and if you have no dog (or a dog that's correct in the head!) and your own washing up facilities, I recommend it without reservation.

My partner and myself have just come back from a one night stay in a Bell Tent at Mousley House Farm. What a fabulous experience! The campsite is situated in rural Hatton with beautiful views of the countryside making it a real retreat. The Bell Tent itself was spacious and immaculate inside! Lots of little touches such as a welcome sign outside, fairy lights and interior furnishings made our stay really something special!
Once we had settled in we were greeted by the owner Simon who was friendly and welcoming showing us the facilities on the campsite and really making us feel at home! Simon also told us about the local area and places we may be interested in visiting which was also very useful!
On site there were toilets and shower/washing facilities which were kept clean and very good for the size of campsite.
The Bell Tent was brilliant and I would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys camping however wants touch of class and a comfortable bed!
My only criticism would be signage to the campsite. The postcode gets you on the correct road however from there I think the campsite would benefit from a couple more signs just to clearly mark the driveway.
Overall a very relaxing enjoyable stay and would highly recommend! Many thanks Mousley House Farm :)

We stopped here Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July and loved the campsite. The fact that there is a only a small number of pitches meant there was lots of space. Our 2 children loved the open space and would have played all day in the field if it hadnt have rained so much! Overall there were 12 of us in 3 tents. The toilets and shower block are clean and good for the size of the campsite. The campsite would benefit from a washing up sink if possible. The field is very flat and has good views across the country side. The owner of the site was very friendly giving us ideas of where to visit and what to do with the kids, and even came over the morning after the storms to make sure we were all ok. We had a meal at Tom 'O' the Wood about 2 miles away and the food was good. Overall the campsite was ideal and really good value for money, our friends who had never camped before with their children said they really enjoyed the site and would go back, so we certainly will.

Perfect site for visiting warwick and national trust properties only 2 miles away. Very family friendly site and safe, as it it small and the owner very helpful. Stratford-on-Avon close by as well.
Plenty of pubs nearby for food. Good walking and cycling routes on offer through beautiful country-side.
Toilets clean.
Shower hot water flowing
He hopes to up-date them in the future.
