Just spent 3 nights at this great site in glorious weather. I really rate the site and its owners very highly for their friendliness and enthusiasm.
The facilities are fine, all clean and working and there are all sorts of plans to improve them.
Very well located for all sorts of things especially NT and historical spots like Kenilworth Castle which kids will love.
A great pub is only about 10 mins down the lane. This is ''The Case is Altered'' which is a freehouse and unique these days as its unmodernised and doesn't do meals. They brew their own beer in Warwick. 5 great ales from misc brewers on tap.
Need I say anymore!

We spent a fabulous weekend here having booked the whole site for a 40th birthday party. The setting was beautiful, you would never know you were so close to the M40/A46. The owners could not be more helpful. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained - fairly basic, but exactly what we needed. The huge open space in the middle made for some great games for children and adults alike. Our guests who had booked the bell tents said they were comfortable - they certainly looked charming.
There are lots of activities/pubs etc close by but we didn't leave the site all weekend.
I'd give the facilities a high mark for what they are - we didn't want a bar/shop/playground etc. This is a site for open spaces and a beautiful setting with a huge open space for children to run around.

We camped over the BH weekend and had a lovely time with our two boys (8 years old). The site was fully booked most of the weekend but you would not have been aware of that fact as it was so quiet. The best feature for us was having the generous space available in the middle of the camping field to play all sorts of games. Not to mention the generous space between pitches!
We also took an enjoyable walk from the site one afternoon up to and around Haywood using footpaths and (quiet) country lanes to get there and back.
The toilets and showers were more than adequate for our requirements. Washing up facilities would have been nice but not necessary for such a short stay - and that's with us eating on site every night.

We spent the May bank holiday weekend at this site with 3 generations in 6 units, (4 caravans and 2 motorhomes). There were 12 adults, 10 children aged from 18months to 14 years and 6 large dogs. This was the perfect site. The pitches are very large and positioned around the outside of the field. We took over the far end of the field which gave the children plenty of room for playing without interfering with the other campers and space for the adults to organise bbqs' etc.
The toilets are as advertised, basic but clean and the showers are a wet room portacabin. They are ideal for families as there are 2 showers and a large dressing area. I think there are plans to make these more permanent buildings in the future. This is a very new site, opened last July, electric hook ups have been added this year.
We were lucky to have sunshine the whole weekend.
The site is within walking distance of a wood, along fairly quiet roads. The children came back filthy dirty but had enjoyed themselves.
Warwick and Hatton Locks are a short drive away.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and inspect the site regularly. They organise a pet handling session on a Saturday afternoon for children (and parents) but also explain why they discourage the feeding or handling of the horses.
The only criticism I have of this site is that the grass could be a bit shorter and perhaps some soap in the toilets, minor things really.
The setting and views are fantastic, the field is fairly flat and the site is very child friendly.

We have just returned from a super Easter break at Mousley House Farm campsite. For us the location was ideal given its just off the M40.
This site was ideal for our family, we have two small children (5 and 3) and we were able to let them play in the big field right in front of the caravan knowing they were completely safe. During our stay it was lovely to see other similar families to us with young children all playing games in the fresh air. Our children loved seeing the animals on the Saturday and we practically planned our day to ensure we came back in time to see them!
The site is almost flat with just a slight gradient to the bottom of the field but you wouldn't notice it on your pitch. The pitches are perfect in size, very roomy and nicely laid out with good thought to where the sun rises and sets. Its basic in terms of facilities but we had everything we needed for a five night stay, with electric hook up. There is future intention to have a purpose built toilet block but currently they have a temporary toilet block which is extremely clean and despite being small over a fully booked site at Easter there was never a problem getting a hot shower.
There are beautiful views of the farm, fields and countryside and you are only a few miles from two great National Trust properties, not to mention everything Warwick has to offer and we can definitely recommend the Tom O' the Wood pub.
The owners were fantastic, they were always there if you needed them but not intrusive.
A couple of suggestions which they may want to take on board, that we thought would have been useful are,
1. A Noticeboard in the toilet block of what's on and a bit of local information, although Simon was brilliant as his knowledge of exactly what was around in the area was great and he tailored the information knowing we had two small children.
2. Soap in the toilet block.
Thanks for a great stay and we look forward to seeing you again very soon.

We just had 3 nights here and had a great stay. It's a lovely large field with big pitches and still plenty of space for games in the middle - great for children - and open views of the countryside. The facilities are as described, basic, but very clean. It's in a great location - an easy drive to Warwick Castle which was our main reason for staying there. The customer service was second to none from the moment I made an enquiry to our departure - Simon is an excellent host. He gave recommendations for local pubs - which we loved (The Navigation) and generally made sure all the campers were happy. All in all a lovely site to take your own tent/caravan too - or to try glamping in one of their furnished bell tents.

We spent 2 nights at Mousley House Farm in our camper van. The facilities were exactly as described - basic, but clean. There are showers available now, although we didn't use them so can't comment. The only downside was not having hot water for washing up.
We were visiting the NEC for an exhibition and the site was brilliantly located for this - a few miles from both the M40 and M42, although you wouldn't know it because it was so peaceful and rural.
I would have no hesitation recommending this site if you like to get away from it all.

This was a great, quiet, peaceful site. There was lots and lots of space and the location was very convenient for Warwick Castle, Cadbury World and the National Space centre. It was easy to find following the directions on the website. The facilities are very basic but clean. There is a small toilet block and stand pipe taps for water in the field. The site owner was extremely hospitable and we had a lovely holiday. There are horses in adjoining fields which was a delight for our daughter.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Mousley House Farm. Lovely secluded campsite, with plenty of space - lots of room in between tents. Toilet block is currently unisex and a trailer type, no showers. They are hoping to build a proper toilet and shower block one day. Fully functional toilets, cleaned every day. The owner was a fountain of knowledge - fantastic for recommendations of places to go. This campsite was nice and close to Warwick. Lots of things to see and do locally. Well worth a visit. I would strongly recommend this campsite! Family friendly, couple friendly - just all around friendly.

A great, relaxing, traditional site. Loads of space between pitches meant for an undisturbed night's sleep.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon in time to see Simon and Gabbi bring out a selection of farm animals for all the kids, and most of the adults, to hold.
The toilet block is clean & functional. There are no showers or hot water for washing up cooking stuff but it just makes you think more about how to save the hot water you may not use for your tea in the morning!
The price is amazing, £12. 50 per night for 2 adults, 1 child and a tent pitch. Roll on the anti-glamping movement. Fantastic.
