Very friendly welcome and superb site.
Views across the village and with the Church clock chimes bringing similarities with many French rural settings including a great village shop and pub.
We will be back :-)

Pipcott fields is a lovely little site. With plenty of space between pitches. And very clean and well maintained.
Little shop and local pub a stone's throw away.
Really enjoyed our stay. Owners are very helpful, welcoming and friendly

Spent a lovely week at this peaceful site. Grass pitches are well spaced out on a gently sloping field which is kept clean and neatly mowed. EAch pitch has it's own bin for general rubbish, but there's also a good selection of recycling bins too.
Fresh water readily available and a clean and easy to use chemical waste disposal point. The toilet and shower blocks were closed due to the current virus restrictions.
Doug was extremely helpful and friendly, the village had a pub (we didn't use this) and a very useful community shop selling provisions, including delicious local pasties, jam and scones - plus Devon sourced Langage Farm clotted cream. What more could you need!

Beutiful little site in a quiet wee village.
Shop and pub are virtually on the doorstep.
Doug and Mike are amazing, from our initial enquiry to departure they made us feel really welcome.
We visited Pipcott Fields with a very large group and all had a wonderful time.
Unfortunately at the time of visiting the facilities were closed due to Covid.
A bus stop is a short (steep) walk that will take you into Ilfracombe or Barnstaple.

Had a lovely 7 night stay at Pipcott Fields. We stayed on pitch 8 which is at the top of the field so we had great views. Doug and Mike are very helpful if you need to ask anything.
Individual bins are checked and emptied daily when necessary and the whole site is spotless. There is a village shop right outside the campsite where you can get your essentials and a pub in the village, but we didn't visit it so can't comment on the food.
Can't comment on the toilet and shower facilities as like everywhere else they are closed at the moment.
Would definitely stay here again if we are visiting North Devon.

Really lovely, peaceful small campsite with very generous pitches. Village shop is close by, as is the pub (although it is essential to book if you want to eat there).
Friendly, pleasant owners, Mike and Doug. Can’t really comment on the toilets/showers as these were shut due to COVID - they looked attractive and well maintained from the outside though.
Highly recommend and would definitely choose to stay again.

Very quiet location with quite narrow entrance. Good sized pitches although some were on quite a slope. Owner could not have been more helpful.
Pub and shop very close by, shop had everything we needed pub felt a little unwelcoming but that wasn't helped by their entry policy which was quite abrupt.
Access roads not the easiest as narrow and steep but we've negotiated worse.
If we planned on visiting north Devon again we would be happy to use this site again.

What a beautoful, perfect campsite run by such an incredibly friendly family. Set in a field right by a quiet village, with a shop and pub on your doorstep.
It is a quiet site, which is just what we wanted, laid out beautifully with space around you. Just perfect. Dog friendly too.
When we visited there were no showers or toilets open due to covis so only suits if you are self contained at the moment.
We will definitely be back.
