Great place to stay. On the moors but near the main road, easy to find and still in the process of being improved. Good road, new wc block and great shower, and still being improved. Views to the sea until the haunting mist comes down, great ambience. Owner peter a great guy who even did some blacksmith work on our anti sway device, gratis. Six hard standing sites for vans and plenty of space, with water for tents. Lovely views, peaceful site. Highly recommended. Kenjoan

A great little find. With whitby a few miles away commuting was easy. The site is set on a slope with 5 or 6 level hard standing areas for caravans or motorhomes that was fine. Only one toilet and shower this was kept spotless by a very cheerful and helpful owner. At £12. 00 a night its a steel. We will be returning later this year.

We stayed over the Easter weekend and as soon as we pulled up we couldn't have been more happier with the outstanding views the site commands. The owner was more than helpful. Even though this is a relatively new venture for him, he was open to feedback and suggestions.
There are 5 hardstanding pitches for caravans and at present a little unsuitable for erecting an awning on the level but the owner has this in hand and will be rectified shortly. The campsite for tents is in a lovely setting at the bottom of the farm track, very peaceful and tranquil. However, although there is a water point there is no electricity for tents and the shower and toilets are a fair walk.
We shall definitely be returning again as this site is an ideal base for touring the North Yorkshire Moors.
