This is a large adult only site spread over 4 fields, first 3 fields, consist of 40 pitches with electric hook up and water taps, 4th field no EHU, mainly tents. Sandy soil so well drained, even after storm Francis.
Amenities building consists of 3 unisex toilets with no handwash basin, sanitiser on wall, 1 disabled toilet, separate gents and ladies showers, 3 push button showers, which did not stay on for long, 2 washbasins, hand dryer and hairdryer in each with sanitiser spray available. 3 unisex push button showers with basins are located at rear of building, toilets were clean but hand dryers and hairdryer were not, no sign of deep cleaning taking place, considering coronavirus.
There are 3 outside pot wash sinks, 1 attached to amenities block and 2 to the side, both with sanitiser spray, also a laundry room, which was locked at the time of our visit.
No reception area, once through gate, parked up and Leigh came along in his buggy, explained pitch where and how you like, alright when site not full but over bank holiday when site was busy, 6m rule between units was not observed, pitches were being numbered as we left, so this might change. Jane came along once set up with information on local attractions, both Jane and Leigh very friendly and were available if any problems.
The site has an equestrian centre attached, but is fenced off. The site is located in Kings Forest, so plenty of walks for dogs and cyclists, Anglo Saxon village across the road, no local shops so transport is required, supermarkets 15-30 mins away.

Excellent site large pitches, leigh and Jane keep an eye out on the site and for people arriving.
No reception.
Toilets and showers kept clean and tidy. Walk for miles around Kingsforest and west stow country park both adjacent to the site. Good wifi. Loads of wildlife.
Clear skies, be back soon.

Lovely site, extremely helpful owners, excellent facilities, spotlessly clean throughout our stay.
So quiet and peaceful with Kings Forest attached to the site for beautiful woodland walks.
Would definitely stay again.

Our first time on an adult only site, as the kids don't want to come with us any more. It was great to have the peace and quiet. The site owners leave you to it but drive around every evening in their golf cart. Winnie their dog keeps an eye on the dog behaviour and looks very superior in the passenger seat!
The site was very reasonable. We paid £15 per night for 2 adults and a tent without electricity.
I think most of the info on the toilet block has already been covered. However, as a non EHU, it was a long walk there and back. You are always in the furthest field. It did get busy on the weekends and I wonder why they didn't put toilets into the 3 new shower rooms. Only having 4 toilets meant some queuing.
There are 3 washing up sinks and even a dog wash.
No facility for freezing ice packs which was a pity. Jane offered to do it but as they are so busy with the horses, there was never anybody in reception to ask. I never saw the reception open.
On the non EHU field you can pitch where you like. It was busy both weekends but Mon-Thurs was very quiet. On our last night people put a camper van almost in our tent, which was annoying.
There is some road noise and also the jet planes. We were woken up just after 1am with one that sounded like it almost hit us, it was so loud! Luckily that was a one off.
The location is great. Lovely walks in the forest and we saw a deer. We went across the road a couple of times to the Country Park to see the Anglo Saxon village and walk around the lake. There are also bird hides there. Bury St Edmunds has a lovely park around the ruined Cathedral.
I have never seen so many butterflies!

A lovely quiet site in a great place for walking and visiting places.
All facilities were extremely clean and well looked after.
The owners were very friendly and I am sure nothing would of been too much trouble, had we asked for help with anything.
We will definitely stay again.

After seeing all the lovely reviews of this site we booked for 8 nights. This is a large site, having, I understand, recently extended the area for camping/caravanning.
The showers were lovely. Especially the three they don’t tell you about round the back of the loos and plenty of lovely hot water! Friendly hosts and their lovely dog who sits in front seat of the golf trolley the owner uses to go around the site!
Quite a lot of airplane noise from nearby airbase, only during the day while we were there thank goodness! But very interesting planes. All sorts from fighter jets to heavyweight propeller types. Pitch where you like.
Sadly our neighbours pitched up a bit closer than I would have liked during these Coronavirus times. The site was very busy while we were there.
Given the size of the site I’m afraid I was rather surprised that they only have 3 unisex toilets and one disabled, all clean but none of the unisex ones have any proper washing facilities, just a sanitising liquid dispenser. The same stuff you get in portaloos at Steam Fairs etc. I don’t know about the disabled one.
The loos also ran out of both loo paper and sanitising liquid on several occasions while we were there and I did have to wait to use the loo several times during our stay. This is my only moan. Please build more loos!
The WiFi is rather hit and (mostly) miss and not a strong enough signal to use for anything, not even games! An on site shop for basics would be nice addition too. Very dog friendly. You can even give them a warm wash!
Lots of lovely walks, Gardens to visit and the Anglo-Saxon Village park opposite.

Really lovely friendly peaceful camp site. Perfect location for a gentle stroll around the forest ( literally on the doorstep and 3 deer spotted :-) ) or around the beautiful fishing lakes over the road.
The owners are very nice and friendly and the site is very reasonably priced.
The pitches are not marked out so pretty much set up where you want within reason and obviously near to the electric plugs if that's what you want.
The showers and toilets are as clean as I've ever seen at a camp site. The only down sides I can think of are: There are only 3 unisex plus 1 disabled toilets. Maybe a struggle in busier periods.
The RAF base near by to me was brilliant watching the planes but to some it may be a bit loud especially as one literally flew over and must have brushed the top of our tent ( or so it felt and sounded ) in the middle of the night. ( again I loved this but maybe not to everyone's liking )
But as you will see in my scoring of the site over all it was brilliant and we will deffo be returning.

A beautifully located site, which sits adjacent to the Kings Forest. Plenty of spectacular scenery whether walking or cycling (on and off-road).
Excellent facilities, including pet wash, pot wash stands, laundry & well-maintained (very clean) showers and toilets.
Van sites well spaced and uncluttered, and the site is run by some of the nicest camp ground owners I have met to date.
Great experience - only thing missing was an on-site shop for basics like milk and bread.
I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys. Thank you. I will be back.
