An easy to find adult only site. A flat grass site. Pitches well spaced. Posh new toilet block with toilets, showers and pot wash. Loos were clean and showers the same. Plenty of hot water in the showers. I particularly liked the imaginative chemical waste point. Made me chuckle. Although this is a equine center as a camper this is not pushed into your face. Yes you will see horses all day everyday, but just look the other way! Helpful info from Lee on arrival. Very extensive list of local pubs and eateries. The dog walks / walks in the kings forest were fantastic. Always a cool breeze in the woods. The only down point were the flies, saying this it was a few particularly hot days we were there. Fly screens/ repellent a must. Saying that we will be back.

An absolutely delightful 'laid-back' site, especially if you have a dog and/or enjoy walking. The King's Forest (accessed directly from the site) goes on for miles, and is very beautiful and peaceful, and West Stow Country Park (across the road) is good for walks too (and has a nice little cafe and visitor centre). Very spacious (although it may feel a little crowded if full to capacity), level, field with open views to the west, and plenty of hook-ups - and always plenty of horses to watch! Water and CDP readily accessible. Other facilities very basic at the moment, but with the promise of a new toilet/shower block soon. Friendly and helpful owners will advise on shops, pubs etc (nothing within easy walking distance). Bury St Edmunds is well worth a visit - especially the Cathedral and Abbey Gardens. All in all, a gem!
