We have been truly spoilt at this wonderful campsite! Fantastic base for family outings in the area. Lovely site which is so well maintained. Little touches such as flower tubs, benches make it beautiful. Washing up area is kept spotless as are toilets and showers. The showers are immaculate and nice and roomy. Large pitch which was quiet so suited us and our dog. The owners are so helpful and friendly. A range of brochures/ walks etc in the little hut. Fire pits are available which adds to the camping experience. I don't think we will find anywhere as nice as this place so will do some repeat stays. Cannot recommend this site highly enough!

I have very limited camping experience, but decided to try it out spending a weekend camping with my three children (4, 9, 11). Full of apprehension and excitement, we set off to Nateby (a small village in Lancashire) in late July.
I immediately felt welcome by the lovely caravan site owners. They were more than wiling to make good suggestions abotu places to visit and eat in the local area.
We set up the tent in a beautiful field where the children spent the whole day running around. This is quite a luxury as we come from a city. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings knowing the children were safe. They certainly slept well.
I was apprehensive about facilities, as the only other campsite I visited didn't have any showers. There is a lovely shower and toilet block close to where we camped. The owner must have worked very hard throughout the day, as they were spotless! I coudlnt have asked for any more.
Overall I had a fantastic experience, no thanks to this fantastic site. I will be recommending this to my friends as it's all you could want in a site. Thank you very much.

Three couples two in caravans and one in a tent stayed two nights. Arrived all out pitches were reserved with our names and were a really good size. Owners were out for the day so they had arranged with their friends to be there when we arrived to greet us and show us where everything was which we felt was a nice welcome touch. Diana and Robert then came and introduced themselves and again made us feel really welcome giving more information about the local area. There is a information shed on site with lots of leaflets, bus timetables and a book swop. The site is a credit to them as it is their first season and they couldn't do enough for us. Toilet, shower block and washing up area spotless. All enjoyed it that much booked again for next weekend and another couple joining us. Would definitely recommend this site. Thank you Diana and Robert for a lovely weekend. Terry, Sue, Tina, Pete, Linda and Steve.

We stayed for 1 night at Little Meadow Humblescough with friends. The view of Bowland Fells was beautiful. Diane came and introduced herself and was very friendly and helpful. We bought wood for our camp fire and it was reasonably priced at £6. 50 (we halved the price between us) and it saved us space in our car when packing for the weekend. We pitched our tents next to one another no problem as there was plenty of space to choose from. The two toilets were very well appointed next to the meadow we were camping in and were clean and very well maintained. The two shower rooms are large with toilet, shower and wash basin. For us this was a perfect weekend getaway being only 30 minutes from our home and we had a lovely time and would visit again. My children would have liked a play area but I think that is the beauty of this place as they made their own entertainment playing games, rolling in the grass and meeting the other children on the site.

Myself and my wife visited this working family farm in May. We found it to be a lovely campsite in a beautiful location. The owners were very friendly and personabe who couldn't do enough for us. We both felt very wellcome.
Found the nearby town of Garstang to be delightful with plenty of local eating establishments. Overall a clean caravan site on a picturesque, peaceful site with excellent facilities.
Will be returning. Thank you again for all your help

Lovely peaceful location with great views of the fells. Very well maintained site. Friendly and helpful proprietors. Great base for cycling or walking - we tried out a few of the walks we found in the site information point. The small market town of Garstang is about five minutes drive away. Handy for visiting Lancaster, Blackpool and the Trough of Bowland. We will definitely be visiting again.
