Lovely well cared for site, nice walks and plenty to visit nearby.

Could be difficult for older visitors due to gradient and location of water/toilets etc.

Cafe/bar only open restricted hours.

Lovely site, a little steep trying to get on some of the pitches (thought my clutch would go) but once set up all fine.

Fantastic views over Derwent Reservoir and plenty of walks in area.

Only 2 shower/toilet facilities for the site which are shared with everyone pitched on site but seems to work fine.

Extremely nice place to stay with excellent views over the reservoir. The owners are also very pleasant people and very helpful, I recommend anyone saying here. With a pizza oven, hot tub and bbq hut arriving soon it will be even better. We will definitely be back here in the future

Absolutely fantastic place to sit back and chill out. The sign at the entrance says 'arrive as strangers and leave as friends' and you certainly just do that. Margie n Paul who own the place are the most friendliest, down to earth people you will ever meet. The pods are spacious and extremely warm and the shower block is something that you expect to see in a hotel, not on a country side site. The plans they have to improve are well worth another visit such as hot tubs and a bbq hut. If you want a staycation then this is the place to come.

We have just returned from a weekend at Derwent View Glamping. One word could sum up this place - amazing!

The glamping pods are spacious, modern and immaculate. Each pod comes with a BBQ fire and picnic bench in their own area. The views from the pods are sensational and the area very peaceful. The bathroom facilities were again immaculate. The pods and facilities really were 5*.

The owners made us feel so welcome. They went out of their way for us and did everything they could to ensure we had a perfect stay. Not only did we not want to leave but our dog also didn't want to go home! She was sold after lots of doggie treats, play time with the owners and hours of beautiful walks on the doorstep.

We would highly recommend this place, we left feeling relaxed and will be returning again soon.

We stayed one night in one of the glamping pods. Very well priced and the location was beautiful just a 2 minute walk from the Derwent Reservoir. We were even allowed to bring our little dog with us. The pods were spacious and immaculate with plenty of room and a comfy sleeping area. The owners are friendly, helpful and inviting. The shower/toilet block is excellent and completely spotless and even includes a washing machine and microwave. They have covered and excelled at every aspect down to little details. We will definitely be returning in the very near future and wish them luck in this business.

From the moment you arrive your hosts make you unbelievably welcome. The Glamping pods are everything you need for a great getaway in a beautiful spot. The Glamping pods are spotlessly clean, have a modern flat screen tv, good size fridge, a toaster, kettle and microwave. There is good space between each Pod so that you don't feel on top of your neighbour. The manicured grounds are immaculate and are great for kids or dogs. The shower area is great, with male and female toilets ( both have a lovely hot shower. There is also a sink unit in here and a good size washing machine. Each pod has a water supply outside and a small balcony area at your front door. The views from your pods are unbelievable, overlooking Derwent reservoir and the woods. To walk down to the reservoir only takes about 5 minutes where you can pay for a days fishing if you want to. It's perfect for walkers, family's, and your dog will love this area. You can even order pizzas from your hosts and they send out and have them delivered. You can get a fire pit and buy some wood from your hosts. The local village is only 2 or 3 mins in the car and has a small village shop and a pub. Also, if you want to have a look at historic Corbridge or nearby Hexham it's only a small journey away. This place is an absolute gem and I'm sure with hearing what the owners have planned for this site will only go from strength to strength.
