We stayed here for one night enroute to Portsmouth, we visited Salisbury in the afternoon and site was easy to find afterwards. My ideal site as served all our needs, EHU, water on pitch and free wifi. Clean toilets and showers. The site was quiet with a mix of caravans, motorhome and tents. There is a shop in the village and a pub serving food within walking distance. We would stay again as now found a site that is both affordable and not too far from Portsmouth for the ferry to France.

Ideal small informal site for visiting Salisbury. Great pub nearby for real ales and super reasonably priced food. Very good heated toilet block for such a small site. The site could do with better signage. Go through village to top of hill and turn left. Site on left.

We initially wanted to stay here for a few weeks, but decided to leave after a few days. The location is amazing, country walks, Salisbury and the New Forest nearby, the price was good too. It wasn’t the fact that it is secondary to the horse livery thing going on, it was the state of the pitches and most importantly, the toilet block.
The first thing we noticed on entry to the toilets was the smell and the sign, which said to leave the toilet/showers as you found them. They weren’t clean, the bins were full, one toilet in the ladies wasn’t working and there was a mop and bucket full of dark grey water.
The owner of this place lives off site, we saw her several times a day whenever someone arrived, but not once did she set foot in the toilet blocks. The waste toilet ‘hole’ is just that. A hole in the ground you water in and quite a rough set up. Our pitch had nasty, prickly weeds at the rear. We were at the pitches to the front, there were more behind the stable block that looked a bit better.
There is a pub a short walk away. The service wasn’t the best, but the food was great.

Always warm welcome at this small farm site, well kept and facilities are good, nice underfloor heated shower/toilet facilities. Also electric hook-ups. Quiet site lovely walks and lots to do in Salisbury. Visit the Duck Inn, (serves food lunchtime) Laverstock for good home cooked food. Sarum airfield museum, also has small reasonably priced cafe. Community farm at Laverstock with animals and walks has small cafe which sells local produce.

A quiet site with good, flat pitches. Price includes ehu (even if you don't use it) and is very reasonable. The toilet block has lovely underfloor heating and there is plenty of hot water. However, although our initial impression was that it was clean, a closer inspection showed dirty doors, plug holes clogged with hair and waste bins not emptied. That was also the case in the dish wash area and the main rubbish bins were overflowing. The showers were not draining away properly.
The facilities are clearly only a few years old, but it looks as if they are not currently being properly cleaned and maintained. There was no evidence of any cleaning taking place during our 3 night stay.

Visited the site a few weeks ago to use as a base to visit Salisbury. The site was as described, and facilities very clean.
The owner very welcoming and helpful as were her staff. Site fees very reasonable, dogs welcome, and plenty of walking space from the site. Local pub (good food but not the cheapest) and shop/post office within walking distance(300yds). Salisbury about 3 miles and easy when they finish the road works on the A30

Stayed here for 4 nights, October half term week. Nice quiet site in a paddock adjoining a busy stable yard. No road noise and only 15 minutes from the centre of Salisbury. Good clean facilities with under floor heating. 2 adults, 2 children, 1 dog, caravan and ehu - £14 per night. Will visit again.

A lovely quiet site, very welcoming, ample clean warm showers, very clean facilities.
We only stayed one night as a rest stop for travelling to Cornwall, but the site did exactly what we needed it to. The site owner is very welcoming and friendly.
