Just returned from a lovely weekend.
The site is situated at the top of quite a steep hill. It is immaculately maintained. The chap who pitched us was very friendly and helpful. A two mile walk into Silsden with a £3. 00 taxi fare back.
Showers and toilets immaculate but for two little quibbles-the toilet roll is outside the stalls and the showers are 50p for four minutes.
There is a dog walking field at the lower end of the site which is a nice touch with a couple of benches which offer wonderful views over the valley.
The site is mainly statics with space for about a dozen tourers/motorhomes. The tent field is gently sloping about an acre in size with a small childs playground.
We paid £16 per night for two adults and a dog which I would consider about average.
We really liked this site and will return.

Sloping field, pounding rain made for muddy camping; but clean facilities. I'd suggest that I used more water brushing my teeth with the 'water saving' taps than I usually would and I don't like the idea of the toilet roll being outside of the cubicles. I would have liked a family shower room as trying to encourage a 22month old to have a shower single handed is challenging!
We may return, we may not.

Great site - proper gem
If you like a quiet & clean site with plenty of walks for the dog this is the place.
Shower blocks are immaculate as is the rest of the site. The owner is always around emptying the bins and tiding up.
Silsden centre is a 10 min drive with a couple of pubs and a co-op for your bits and bobs.
The local chinese will deliver to the campsite gate if you fancy a change and the food is really good-nice change.
Really good value and highly recommended.

Stayed here several times over the last 2 years, introduced to this wonderful site by a friend,
Facilities are 1st class, toilets & showers have been refurbished recently,
Nearest shops etc 5 min drive or 30 min walk away, the kings arms for 1st class real ale, georges chinese take away highly recommended,
This site has so much on it's doorstep, something for everyone no matter what you like to do,
The owner is always on hand. We like this site so much we have now bought a static & looking forward to many years staying at our country pile.

3 of us stayed here during a charity cycle ride along Leeds - Liverpool canal. 28th-30th June 2012
On arrival we were shown us to a spot we could pitch our three tents. Lovely and sheltered.
The Toilet/wash facilities were great and very clean (almost looked new). The washing up room was large and the sinks great. 50 for a 4min shower.
Cyclists should be aware that the site is about 1. 5 miles out of Silsden up a steep hill (12% gradient in places). After cycling 48 miles that hill was beyond me so I pushed, but it soon passed and the view from the top (on a clear day) is great. Cycling down in the morning was wonderful.
The shops in Silsden are very good. Co-op is open till 10pm. Would recommend Stefano’s Italian restaurant.
Taxi ride back to the site was only £3.
Would recommend this site.

We stayed here for a friends wedding in Leeds, which is about a half hours drive away.
On arrival we went into the first entrance we came to and drove around all the static caravans before stopping and asking someone where reception/check in was. They directed us to the house up the hill, and as we drove past the second exit we noticed these instructions on the second gate. Tim was lovely and very helpful and friendly. Suggested we cam[ anywhere, and we paid up front £12 for two nights, which included 2 adults and a dog.
The site itself mainly caters for statics, but there is a camping field just behind the statics with the toilets and showers in easy walking distance. The showers take 50p for 4 minutes, so bring all your coins! The shower/toilets were extremely well maintained and I rarely saw another human as I figured the statics had their own facilities so the block was mainly used by campers.
The site has a short cordoned off dog walk, which was sufficient for our elderly shepherd. There was also a direct route from the camping field straight up the top of the hill for more energetic dogs! In the corner of the camping field there was a small play area with swings etc. As we were there for a wedding we didn't do much sightseeing. I would say there's not a pub within walking distance to the campsite.
This was a really well run site with very friendly owners. I would definitely recommend this campsite.

This is an very well maintained site which predominantly caters for static caravans. There is plenty of room for a few tents/caravans though. The camping field has a children's play area at the end of it so no problems letting the kids play whilst we battled with pitching our tent.
The toilet block is immaculate, spotlessly clean showers and washing facilities (this includes the pot washing area). Be aware though that the showers are 50p for 4min.
The campsite charges are currently £8 per adult and and £6 for under 16s although the owner, who was very friendly and helpful, let us pay just £4 as our kids are only 4 and 6.
My only concern would have been that flat pitches are quite limited, however we were on one of them so I have no complaints - I've never seen the site overcrowded.
We were only trying out our new tent and live in Silsden, 2min down the road, but I would happily recommend this site to other campers. It is a great area to visit with plenty to see and do.

What a lovely hidden gem, on the outskirts of the yorkshire dales and only 6 miles from Skipton, and only £14 per night with ehu.
Beautiful site surrounded by flowing hills and very peaceful setting, it is mainly statics on site and also has a separate tent section, which is really looked after.
The mens toilets/showers are brand new and one of the best I have ever visited.
The only negative is that, if you need a shop etc then you will have to drive about 5 mins.

As others have said, a quiet site, with lovely views. Despite being bank holiday, the site was very quiet, the owner only allows a few tourers / tents on site, so as not to overcrowd and the result is lots of open space, peace and quiet.
The site is mainly statics, but there is a touring field with children's play area. The toilet block is a short walk away. The females is dated, but very clean. The males however has been updated and is brand new.
There isn't much in the area to walk to, so a car is needed to get out and about, but it is close to many towns and the nearby Worth Valley Steam railway which we visited.
The owner is very laid back and only took our money on the last day, but he always has time for a chat and make sure you are okay. We will definitely go back to this site, lets just hope we get some warmer weather next time!

Very quiet campsite with glorious views. Numerous statics on site and the owner was a very pleasant accommodating gentleman. Toilets and showers (10p) very clean but a little outdated. No shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Within walking distance, but ideally situated to visit so much by car that this area has to offer. The site is very well cared for and would definitely recommend it.
