 As we again failed to book in time for the bank holiday we rang around looking for cancellations. We managed to get a last Minute deal at Old Hall. What a lovely site toilets and showers where spotless and the pitches for the caravan very neat and tidy.
The site is set in the middle of woodlands and the nature trail around the outskirts of the sites is good for the kids, however, unfortunatley this is probably the only thing that kept them entertained throughout the weekend. This site is great if you want a nice relaxing weekend away, and I definatley will be returning to the site when its just me and the wife to get away from it all. If you have young kids and need to keep them entertained you may find this site to quiet.

Visited Old Hall Caravan Park and found it to be a very tidy and clean site. All the people on site seem to speak and pass the time of day. Sseems to be a site where the majority of tourers are seasonal held pitches. The toilet/shower block is very clean and the whole site is surrounded by woodland area. Plenty of squirrels and rabbits playing , and a resident owl screeching at night. In the nearby village of Carnforth there is some lovely restaurants (highly reccomend the County Hotel) and the site is only 45mins from Blackpool or 20mins from Morcambe bay and the true Lake District countryside is all around to see. Will be going back again
