Great, small and friendly site. Site is on a slope, but pitch your tent the right way and you'll be fine. Includes on-site shop, laundry facilities(including a mangle for when the weather gets really bad) and washing up room (they even supply washing up bowls!), television and game room, and small playground for the kids. Toilets and Showers are separated and showers are old but clean and plenty of hot water. Everything you could want from a small campsite. Nicest campsite we've visited, thanks for a great holiday in Blackpool!

This was our first visit here and we were very impressed with site and the staff were very friendly.I agree about the showers being very old but they were very clean and powerfull.
The shop was small but had everything you asked for and not too dear as well.
My only gripe was the pitch i was on "But this could have been down to me being new to camping and not insisting on another one" the pitch itself was on a grass surface up a slope and there was a lot of hardstanding ones vacant elsewhere on site,i nearly burnt my clutch out reversing our camper up it.
Other than that it was an excellent site.

Me and my partner stayed at the end of april. lovely site, really friendly family who run it. well stocked shop, and will freeze ice block if you ask, plus food available if you dont have the energy to cook/the BBQ gets rained off. pitching a tent is a joy.. not a single bent peg. nice views, (can see the tower) quiet location. easy access to the local 24hr supermarket and to town. we will deffo be goin again

Why I am reading reveiws of campsites in blackpool as I live here, I do not know. But the last reveiw made a slight mistake. Blackpool town centre is 4/5 miles away. Tesco/morrison/asda supermarkets are all near by. Have driven passed the site many times in a lovely quiet area nice views of country side.

Excellent hospitality from genuinely friendly site owner.We have returned several times since our initial stay in August 2001.The shower cubicles are a little cramped but once your in one there is no shortage of hot water.Absolutely idea site if you're planning on visiting Blackpool as its only about 10 mins drive via the M55 to the centre of the town.
Very close to large supermarket if you need to top up on provisions.

Excellent little site with good drainage and adequate pitch size. The owners of this site are very friendly and helpful.
The location is only five minutes by car from Blackpool town centre yet you get the feeling of staying in the countryside with excellent views. The showers and toilets are very old but very clean. The little shop (which is an extension of the owners kitchen)supplies adequate cullinary needs, and they will even cook a meal for you to take to your van.
