Leedons was a fabulous site that Id recommend to anyone with a family. The heated free swimming pool was a hit with the kids in all weathers! The site was clean with excellent facilities and the showers were hot all day. The toilet block was kept as clean as can be expected. I would recommend this site highly

1st time campers! The site was brilliant for a relaxing weekend - rangers come round and quieten any noisy campers down! We were on the pet pitches by the rally field which was the furthest away from the playground and swimming pool but just what we enjoyed as it seemed less crowded and quieter. The children aged from 2 up to 16 all loved it. Shower block is very small for the two fields! Only 3 showers in the ladies and very busy. The shop sells everything you need and is very reasonable - I wish I hadn't bothered taking so much with me. The alcohol and other items had special weekly offers of buy one get one free and were as cheap as the supermarkets.

Very well positioned site for exploring the campsite, very good facilities, well stocked shop. We were placed on the rally field which we were pleased about because the actual bookable pitches were very close together. It was very wet when we went resulting in the field being very boggy, shower and toilet floors were full of mud and as far as I could see were only cleaned once a day. Also there were only three showers in the block nearest to us and there must have been at least a hundred tents so you had to queue for ages for a shower. Toilets were also miles away from the rally field (not fun with a four year old)

I read with interest Sjm 1966 review. We stayed at Leedons over the Easter weekend, and yes it was busy. But what site isn't over a bank holiday?? I think the staff did exceptionally well to say how many were on the site, toilets were nice and clean all weekend. As for the car parking charge, we had our son stay for the day, and £5.00 I think is very reasonable.
If you parked in a town (if you could get in?) would you get : toilet facilities (clean ones) use of all the other amenities (including swimming pool in summer) it cost £4.00 just for a couple of hours in a car park & you get just that a car park. I say well done Leedons, smashing weekend, thank you. See you again soon (book us the weather again please (-:

We went to this site over the Easter bank holiday 2006. For 2 nights on a standard pitch with dog was £39.00. Was very clean and tidy although pitches was very close to each other, so we never bothered with awning and just parked our car there instead. The only facilities we used was toilets/showers and shop, which was well stocked and open over whole this bank holiday for anything you forgot or ran out of.
My only disappointment with this site was the £5 charge for visitor's (2A/2C) that we met up with off site and they came back with us for a cuppa and was charged £5 for this! Which was a bit over the top I thought, just for them sitting in our unit having a cuppa. I know most sites charge a small amount for visitors but £5 is a bit extreme in my opinion just for parking space.

This was a return visit after a long absence from the Park, its a pleasure to find a site open at this time of year. We found the site to be very clean and tidy. The Managers made us feel very welcome and were more than willing to help us make our stay enjoyable, sharing their knowledge of the surrounds with us.
The park is very large and we are sure will get very busy in the peak periods. Its nice to see some efforts are being made to upgrade and tidy the park further. We cannot wait to return and try all the facilities out in the summer. Recommended for all ages.

We found this site to be a top class site. Wardens & staff could not do enough to make our stay a pleasant one.Plenty to do for our grand children, lovely scenery. Site was kept in pristine condition a credit to Allen's. We will certainly be visiting this site in 2006 & would recommend it to any one planning a trip to the Cotswold's

First the down side: 350 pitches that get full at weekends. Facilities can sometimes be overcrowded .. e.g. pool. Can be noisy well into the evenings. No bans on music. No bans on late night ( very late night! ) parties. Kids left to run around at all hours often hanging around toilet blocks. Cafe staff not always the happiest people I've met.
The upside however:
Well run for the most part. MOST staff helpful with a playful & dry sense of humour. Site is clean. Toilet blocks good, although another block in the Rally field would help matters. Wooden toilet block one end of site. Brick built block nearer entrance. There is a smaller field that appears to be regularly occuppied by Western Europeans. I think this is so they are nearer the more spacious shower blocks that our continental cousins seem to demand. (These are at the rear of the brick built block.) Pool is very good (but not supervised.) Spacious pitches. Large adventure play area. Shop good for topping up. Cafe ... food good. Pleasant duck pond & avery. Lovely veiws. Near to Broadway, Stratford & Evesham.
We've been 3 times now & enjoy this site. Would recommend a mid-week visit if you like it quieter. On the whole .. a very cheerful & lively site but not overly commercial as there is no on site entertainment.

Have been to Leedons several times this year. Great family site. If it is peace & quiet then this may not be for you unless you come mid week. If you want a little quieter area keep away from the main area with the Adventure play ground. The 'down side' to this place is that it is very popular at weekends. The staff are generally pleasant & helpful
The site is clean but could do with one more toilet block with an extra clean during busy times in the season. The Cider farm across the road serves up very rough Cider so is not for those with a 'dickie tum'! Broadway is very nice if a little too 'Twee'!

Just returned from a weekend at Leedons, Broadway. Our first time out in a tent - family of 4. Really friendly staff, great pitch fairly close to toilets, showers etc (which were very clean)
Swimming Pool was great, although my daughter did have an accident on the pool steps (it split in two) we reported it to reception and they provided first aid straight away then sent a ranger to clear the pool immediately and replace the step - you couldn't fault the response! Shop, fairly well stocked, didn't use the take-away but looked okay - just your normal burgers, chips etc. Nice Cider place opposite the entrance - worth a visit (can recommend apple whiskey!) All in all a lovely weekend - will definitely go back.
