Got back yesterday from Leedons after spending 6 nights. We had a great time. I would agree with several of the comments below however from the person who found problems with the site.
Firstly the site is beautiful and set in a beautiful part of England. (You really cannot go wrong with the Cotwolds and Broadway is my favorite) the pitches I found to be large and the level with the grass cut short and removed clippings.
The toilets could do with a spruce up. We paid almost £20 per night and have seen better loos in £10 sites! They loos themselves were clean enough but the tiles and the floor were not. Plus you can tell it is all very 1980s in there.
The playground was great very safe and my kids loved it. Also there is a large piece of grass at the side of the play area for footie and cricket and loads of adults joined in and there was a nice atmosphere.
The pool area is lovely but VERY cold. The pets corner is pleasant and the quiet area there also very nice. Never used the takeaway but we did go in and it looked nice.
If you have no young kids or you have but want some peace then ask to camp on D field which was nice.
After saying the above comment though we did have a bad experience the first night as we were pitched across from some long term tourers and one of the vans was so noisy till 2am. The radio was blasting out etc. The next morning when I complained the receptionist was less than helpful and told me they could not have wardens patrolling till that time. When I said where they were she said “Oh yes we know who they are" So they obviously had had complaints before but still the van remained there. I wish sites would be hard on nuisance campers it really does spoil it for everyone when you are feeling tired the next day.
Overall however the site is great just a few little issues but nothing that would stop me going again.

July 2005 This was a lovely site. We were pitched opposite the play fort which was ideal for my 4 year old. The pool was really nice and clean and there is also a duck pond and a small pet corner. The showers were okay but could have been cleaner. The shop was adequately stocked. I would also recommend a look at the Cider Farm opposite the main gates. We stocked up on plenty of scrumpy jack. It is all home-made and was scrummy. The only thing to spoil the few days we had were a group of teenage girls staying opposite, who spoiled it for other campers especially when you have little ones.

July 2005 A lovely family site and very well organised. I was a bit worried about having allocated pitches, after being able to pitch anywhere at previous sites, but found there was enough room for a tent and gazebo. No pup tents (kids tent) were allowed on our pitch, so did have to pay for 2 pitches. Toilets and showers kept nice and clean, and not far from where we were pitched.
I found there was more to do for children aged 2 - 10, as our 13 - 16 yr olds did get quite bored watching the others having fun. The only thing i would change is the swimming pool. Lovely pool, but all children young and old were in there splashing which put my 4yr old off. Would have been nice to have an under 5 hour, as they do have an adults only hour in the week.
Lovely cafe, which also do the ice packs, and the shop which seemed to cover everything also do the gas. I also like the idea of the pet field, where all the dog owners were, and a nice little walk down a track, so even the dog enjoyed it. Had to be off site by 11am or could pay extra to stay for the day, as long as the pitch hadnt been booked.
Will definitely be going back and maybe visit the cider farm across the road next time ;-)

June 2005 Just got back from another fantastic weekend at this site. It is always busy here and the facilities are good and well maintained. There are lots to do for all age groups and the shop is well stocked and reasonably priced. We usually go with several other families and there is always plenty of space to pitch and to play communal ball games with the children. We can highly recommend it.

June 2005 Stayed for a week with my family and 4 other groups!! Was a very busy week and found the toilets only just able to cope! The Wardens were very helpful and friendly, the pool very warm and the children loved the play area. We did have a few problems inially and ended up having a pitch that backed on to the residential park homes, beware, the people who have bought these homes next to a campsite do not like people camping near them!! The Wardens try to keep these pitches free but had no choice but to put us there, as someone had pinched my brothers familys pitch!!! The Wardens told us that it was a completely different campsite when not busy but they did have there work cut out that week!
Would return again when not so busy (we were offered a free weekend for the inconvenience we suffered) as it is clean with plenty for the children. The food at the cafe was very well priced and of good quality and the service was fast.

June 2005 This is the first time we went camping with our dog and were rather dubious how the dog would behave i.e. barking if someone walked past the tent etc. We therefore stuck to a local site so if he did bark we could whizz him and ourselves off home so we wouldn't disturb anyone else. We had no worries he took to it like a duck to water and the noise level of the site was so loud you wouldn't have heard him anyway!
This is a fantastic site if you've got children, if you haven't and you want a bit of peace and quiet its not for you. We were in the pet field and the noise level from children screaming, playing football at the front of our tent and children running round our tent got to us in the end and we're only young, 37! At midnight kids were still screaming and running round even though the campsite rules stated after 10.30pm to keep the noise level down.
Facilities and the site itself we're fine, recommended if you are taking a family holiday with children and a good set up if you have dogs.

June 2005 We had an overnighter at this site and thought it was a lovely place. It is massive, much larger than we were anticipating. With hindsight I think a smaller site may have been appropriate for our first trip away with our baby as he didn't appreciate the football being played outside for two hours in the evening. The facilities were ok although for the pitch price I think they could improve them. There appeared to be two blocks on site, with adequate facilities. They could probably do with an update. They look quite modern on the outide though.
We were in the rally field as we had been given a pitch number but there were already a family camped on it when we got there but the rally field was more spacious.
Broadway itself is very pleasant. We might find ourselves there again one day.

June 2005 First camping trip with children, we were pitched opposite the playground which was perfect. The site and toilet facilities were clean and tidy and the staff helpful and friendly. We found beautiful walks on the doorstep. We will definatley be back!

May 2005 stayed for 3 nights.it was our second visit, as we had been there last year.. stayed in the rally field and found that we had loads of room as most people went home on bh monday.. Swimming pool was clean and warm, toilet block was clean although they could have supplied a mop and bucket to clean away the grass thats left on the shower cubicle floors. Overall the park is a lovly place to stay.

May 2005 Went with four other families and had the pet field largely to ourselves. It was good to spread out and let the kids have their freedom. Nice clean site, toilet blocks very clean and regularly checked. Showers were hot and very powerful.
Only criticism would be the lack of a bar on site. There is a bistro, but they encourage you to buy food as well as a drink - sometimes you just want a quiet pint!
The quiet area is a nice touch, with small waterfall, ducks and an animal area.
