 Tameview is a basic camp site that only features a drinking water tap, chemical disposal point and a toilet and wash basin fed by rain water.
The owners were friendly and apologised for the wet weather despite it being august, which prevented us from cooking dinner on the evening. We escaped the rain and found warmth and food in the Malt House pub which was only 200m away on the main road.
All in all it is a basic campsite better suited to caravans, but it did serve our needs for a cheap 1 night stopover.

It was our first trip out so we were a bit anxious, but the owner was very friendly and helpful. The site itself was basic - a field and water point. It was reasonably level and was generally quiet during the day - although under canvas you could hear the local motorway droning away throughout the night (ear plugs were handy!). We found it cool in the evening, despite the days being hot - probably because the field was near a river (although it was not easily accessible - handy if like us you have young children). The site overlooked the water park (nice views) but it was some distance away by foot as you have to cross the river to get to it. Generally, it was a small, quiet and basic alternative to what was a very busy Kingsbury site - which was our first choice but we couldn't get the dates we wanted. This turned out to be a great introduction to camping :-)
