Excellent campsite & cheap rates.
Rhosfawr is well presented, clean and tidy site. Showers and toilets was always clean and maintained.
Ice creams and sweets available from shop cheap! Playground was clean and safe for little ones and the owners was very friendly and welcoming.
Pwhelli was a 5 min drive with plenty of shops and we also took a trip to Abersoch which was only a short distance too.
As a family with little ones we all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this site.

This is a very clean and tidy site, well away from the road for the children to be left playing in safety. The grass is kept short but isn't collected so there is some trodden in on footwear. The owners are very amiable and nothing is too much trouble. We will certainly be going back to this site next time we visit North Wales. The toilet/shower block is first class and kept beautifully clean and comfortably heated.

Myself and my wife have recently moved onto a seasonal pitch at Rhosfawr. I just want to saw a few words. I cannot fault it in any way. The Manager and her partner are the most friendliest and helpful people I have every come across on a campsite.
The site is an absolute credit to them. The pitches are like a bowling green. The toilets and showers are always clean, and for 20p the showers are a whole new experience.
There is a small play area, a pub not too far away where they serve food. Pwllheli about 5 mile away, and a selection of beaches to visit.
Myself and my wife would have no hesitation in recommending this site (which we already have). It is an absolute pleasure to stop on this site.

I have just returned from a lovely 3 night break on this campsite. My family and I had a lovely time and we were very lucky with the weather.
This campsite is very clean and has a friendly atmosphere. The facilities are well maintained and include toilets, showers, washing up room, laundry room, chemical disposal and shop in reception.
The campsite is set back from the road so no road noise and we found it to be very spacious with plenty of room for my 2 children to run around. There is a great view of the mountains at this site.
We took our dog and enjoyed many walks and beautiful scenery.
There is a medium sized Asda only 4 miles away in the Pwllheli.
Although no pubs within walking distance there are plenty of good food pubs that we found only a short drive away.
Excellent value for money.
All in all I would highly recommend and will stay again at some point in the future.

I stayed at this site with my family for the first time this year. My children absolutely loved this site as there was plenty of room for them to run around.
This site is in a central location for all the beaches around the Llyn peninsula and so we had many a good day out and enjoyed fantastic weather. The site facilities are very good and kept clean. We had to provide our own toilet paper but I think that is a good thing as it stops people from messing up the toilets and putting tissue everywhere.
The nearest town for shopping is Pwllheli which is only a short drive away.
A lovely quiet, well maintained site and we will definitely be returning in 2012.

I visited this site during the August Bank Holiday, it is a clean, family friendly site.
The showers are of a high standard and handryers provided in the toilets.
Only negative for me is that there was no pub close to the site, although we were informed of a great family friendly pub which is about five miles away in Edern, called the Woodlands. The kids had a great time as they have an indoor kids play area, which was a godsend when it rained.
Looking forward to visiting again next year, if not sooner.

We sited our tourer here during 2011 and it was fantastic.
It offered a great base for our family and some fantastic beaches whithin a 15 minute drive.
Very friendly laid back site with a real community feel amongst the regulars.
We will definitely be considering this site for use in the future.
Couple of improvements for the set would be to build a new toilet block and get out of the portable cabin and include toilet rolls in the toilets, on your first visit this could really catch you out!

Lovely quiet site ideal for my family and our dog. We have holidayed in North Wales for many years and know this area really well. This camp site is situated in a perfect location for us. It is within a short distance to all the heritage beaches of the Lleyn Peninsular to include Pwllheli, trefor, Nefyn, Criccieth, Porthmadog and our favourite Abersoch. Yet this camp site is set back way off the road making it really safe for our children to run around and explore. This is the second stay we have had here and there has been much improvement to the facilities (as per previous review, there are hand dryers now). The pitches are all level with a stunning view of the mountains and the site is kept clean and tidy. We will be staying here again.

Just spent the bank holiday weekend here, first impressions of the campsite are very good. Young lady on the desk was very helpful when we arrived she also spent time with our children in the clubhouse which made our stay so relaxing,
The only downside is there is still work being done on the campsite, the shower block wasn't finished and we wasn't told about this when we booked but I am confident it will be finished when return in 2012
Also they don't supply toilet paper in the toilet patrons are asked to supply there own which I found a little odd as I have never come across this before they also don't provide paper towels to dry your hands after a visit to the toilet again very odd, so please be aware of this and take your own!
We would visit again in 2012 once all the work on the site has been finished and hope fully they would fit hand blowers if they don't want to provide paper towels

Peaceful site set back in a rural area. Perfect for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. I liked the location of this site as it is a small drive from many local tourist locations which can get very busy but at the end of the day you can return to the peace and quiet of this camp site. Great views and lovely to wake up every morning looking at mountains. I have absolutely fallen in love with Wales.
All the pitches are grass and very level, set out over 2 fields so not all packed in together. Facilities are kept clean with a handy laundry room and washing up room but would like to see an on site shop as the nearest shop is 2 miles away, but that is my only moan.
You have to provide your own toilet paper but I like that as it cuts down on waste and is helping the environment also which is very important to me. Overall a fantastic stay was had by all.
