This site has just opened and has been completely refurbished to a very high standard. The shower and toilet block is very clean, tidy and welcoming. There is a disabled wet room with toilet, washbasin and shower.
The dishwashing area has free hot water and is located inside, at the end of the facilities block. The showers are free and spotlessly clean. The pitches are almost level and very roomy. The ehu units are all modern and 16 amp.
The site is conveniently located for all of Cornwalls attractions. There is an on site burger bar which also does breakfasts. The Conservatory bar overlooks the children's playground.
The playground is completely covered in rubber chips for safety. The main clubhouse is in the process of being completely refurbished as well, and should be ready for next season.

Booked into site last minute due to weekend weather forecast. Stayed over with wife and 4 kids (3-17 years)for 5 nights. We wanted something different from the 'Hendra' experience. This site was just the ticket.
I guess they are still gearing up after recent purchase as there is some building work and temporary set-ups (food van). However they did have a fully built and very convenient kids play area.
We stayed on Touring field due to large tent (Outwell XXL) with EHU; this was spacious but we could have been sited on the more central touring park.
Only down side was main block was 5 min walk away. But all facilities once there were first rate. We did have clean portable cabin toilet 1 min walk away.
Staff were all helpful and shop though small had all we needed.
Situated outside Padstow it is more out of the way than we have used before. This gave us the chance to explore some new bays.
We had a great time - as word spreads I am not sure it will be as quiet for so long.

We were a little nervous about visiting this site, as when we booked there were no reviews, given that it's a brand new site. We needn't have been at all concerned - it was fab!
Hardstanding pitches meant that no probs with getting stuck in mud etc. Facilities were top notch too - toilets and showers immaculate. Nice touch having baby changing facilities in the gents as well as the ladies (so many places overlook that kind of thing!)
On site there is a good playpark which our children (4 & 18mths) loved. The park is rather handily overlooked by the on site bar which also has a pool table. We made use of the well stocked (and reasonably priced) shop and the laundry too (£4 per machine, which seemed fairly reasonable).
I believe that long term there is a plan to have food served in the bar, for the time being there is an on site burger van (early mornings and late evenings). Don't be put off by the 'burger van' description - we only made use of it on our first night but the fish and chips were actually very good.
St Merryn is just down the road (Waves Cafe - particularly good) and Padstow / many of the decent beaches are not far.
Due to the fact the camp had just opened it was very quiet, but I'd guess that this will change soon, hopefully it will, as the only criticism was that it was probably a little too quiet!.

We found the site was in an excellent location totally well suited for a varity of excursions, its situated in a very quiet and tranquill spot with little or no road traffic noise.
The pitches are as flat as championship snooker tables and are served with their own tap and power if required.
The shower and toilet/washing block was brand new and absolutely spotless a real credit, as was the rest of the site.
The staff were totally helpful and very friendly and knowledgeable about most things asked really, which is a refreshing change from some sites we've visited.
Shop was well stocked and again spotless.
Great site, and well recommended by me and my family, back soon and thanks again for the stay.
