Visited for 3 nights as a family with 2 10 year olds, 7 year old and a large dog. Very impressed.
Steve very helpful throughout our stay, even helped point me in direction of the nearest electric car charging point.
Looks like a new toilet block which was spotless and never waited for a toilet or shower. 2 washing up stations too which once had to wait for, again spotless though.
Not much for kids to do but it clearly states that on description. A large open playing field which mine used for football, tennis and a run around saw another family with remote control cars and wish we’d done that.
Great area. We drove to Brimham rocks (20mins) and stopped at Ripley for an ice cream on way back one day and the second day we walked along the lovely cycle track into knaresbrough to visit mother shiptons cave and had food in the worlds end pub which did lovely pizzas.
The pub 50m from the campsite had a lovely beer garden which we enjoyed a few drinks in. If we return to the area we will definitely return.
Thanks

From booking site to leaving everything was amazing, lady in reception was very helpful she showed us to our pitch, chatting answering anything we needed to know.
The site itself was immaculate and the shower / toilet block was brand new and exceptional.
Location was ideal for walks to Harrogate, knaresborough and ripley were you can find lovely eateries and shops, river walks and much more.
As grandparents with our six month old grandson we will definitely return to this site.

Lovely immaculate site set within a few miles walking distance of Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripley.
We had our dog with us so it was ideal to tire him out.
New toilet/shower block was extremely clean at all times and no problems having to wait or with hot water running out.
Staff very welcoming and friendly. Site asks you to be quiet after 10pm and that was adhered to while we were there, which was a relief.
Pub 5 mins walk down the road although it doesn't serve food, but was nice to sit with a drink in the large beer garden.
Would most definitely revisit and recommend!

Brilliant location on the edge of Harrogate yet rural.
The site has more service blocks being built but until complete the current loo/shower block is totally inadequate.
I have known this site for over 40 years so slow progress.
The staff are brilliant, helpful and genuinely friendly.

Out of the way gem. Spacious, level site in a very quiet area and within 5 mins walking distance of a pub (not open on Tuesdays atm).
Steady scenic walk to Nidd Gorge, Knaresborough and Harrogate.
Facilities at the moment are 2 toilets (with own sinks), two wash basins, and one shower and they are kept clean. There is construction on what looks like new wash facilities but it looks like slow progress is being made.
We didn't have kids with us but if you do, there is a large grassy area for kids to play safely and within view of your unit.
We would definitely visit this site again as it is a quiet base for day trips to local points of interest.

Lovely clean and tidy site - very quiet and relaxing.
Only downside was lack of Wifi and only 1 shower but I believe progress is being made to amend these things.
Would definitely visit again and recommend.
