 We have stayed at this campsite for the past four years. We always get a fantastic welcome from the very friendly owners.
La Bailloterie is a family run site in the north of Guernsey. We stay in the fully equipped tents, the pitches are generous and the tents are clean and very well equipped. There is plenty of space to park next to your tent.
The campsite has clean and well appointed facilities and the free hot showers are great after a day on the beach. There is a laundry and a baby change area. A range of hot food is available from the aptly named 'Le Trough'. There is a shop which sells everything you need and if they haven't got it, they will get it for you. You can order Guernsey milk and bread for collection from the shop too.
Our children really enjoy the playground and always make new friends there. In the summer there are activities arranged for the children in the form of treasure hunts and boules tournaments.
The campsite is five minutes walk away from a beautiful blue flag beach.
La Bailloterie is an excellent campsite and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

My husband & I & my little westie 'Sherlock' have visited La Bailloterie Camp site in Guernsey twice this year - May & Sept and on both occasions the welcome has been a very warm one and that was not due to the weather but to the owners. They are very friendly & nothing is too much trouble.
The campsite & amenities are clean & well maintained, and the water in the showers etc is always hot enough. There is a bar-b-que area & a play area for children. We normally stay in the back field which is used for campers with pets.
My well behaved & obedient little dog loves the campsite as he runs around this back field without disturbing other campers.
I would recommend anyone to try this campsite as it is out of the main hustle & bustle of St Peter Port but only a 3-5 minute drive away.
So if your going to holiday in Guernsey - Give it a Try! We looking forward to returning this year 2007, so look out Guernsey here we come.

A truly 'family run' campsite with all the amenities you need. Generously sized camping areas with no 'regimented' pitching requirements and certainly no mud flap to mud flap style camping! Electric hook ups available in some pitches but not all(we have never been unable to use a hookup). Good, clean facilities located in original farm buildings which have been extensively upgraded in the many years we have camped here. A small but safe playground provides fun for the children whilst their parents partake in a robust boules competition.
Super location for the islands two main towns yet close to the beautiful sandy beaches. Weekly social barbeques in the high season together with a shop selling essentials and providing freshly cooked food. Very friendly staff who are always available and willing to help. This is the kind of site where you can be as sociable with (or private from) your fellow campers as you wish to be but it is not a 'club style' site. We have made many friends here over the years and will be back again in 2006.
