Had one week here in the wind and rain and one week was too long. As stated by others, the electric pitches are flat, but the non hook up's are on slopes with no markings so it is a bit of a free for all.
2 toilet blocks which were regularly cleaned, but could do with some portaloo's on the top fields where, with young children, can be up to 5 minutes walk to the toilet (or a quick drive). The entertainment was good, pool was warm and clean and free crazy golf, but the bar does get full very quickly, so need to be there before 6.30 at peak times to get a seat which isn't always easy when camping.
Bude is nice, but we did a lot of mileage around cornwall keeping entertained for a week.

This was our first time at this park. Please bear in mind that the amount of rain that we had recently! When we arrived at reception it looked really good but then we was told that we check in by the tents/touring area. I was expecting a reception but was greated by a rotting damp shed. We was told that we could camp anywhere within the areas outlined so I thought thats ok. Off we went lookin for a pitch. After driving around for 10 to 15 mins no joy as the ground was a flooded mud bath.I was still looking for a pitch that was levelish but couldnt find one as the site is on a hill got the car stuck in mud and had to be towed out by a tractor.Went back to complian but nothing could be done it was our choice to stay or leave. We was then told that we could go to another part of the site which has dried up a bit so thats what we did. What a difference that made the pitches was a lot better. The toilet blocks was close by and was not in that bad of condition considering the mud. The showers was hot and very powerfull. The entertainment was brilliant along with the kids clubs. The shop was small and quite expensive. The pool was very good but with no showers and only 2 cubicles for changing one male one female this could of been better. There was no lighting back from the club house if you walk up the road to the tents and tourers area and with young children you would want that! so take a torch with you. If the pitches for non electric hook up was flatter I think we would go again but as you are on a 40% slope I dont think that we would

Just came back from 7 day holiday to this park and it was absolutly wonderful! Toilets and showers were immaculate, staff were polite and helpful, entertainment was excellent and swimming pool was warm and clean! The park was the cleanest we have ever visited and the cleaners were in 4-5 times a day! would definatly recommend park! some pitches were on slope but if you can go electric these are flatter! we will be returning again next year!

The week we stayed at this site we had terrible wind and rain so bear this in mind when you read this review.
When we first arrived the staff were polite and gave us about as much information as was needed- a map to the non hook up field. At first we were pleased with the location of the pitch, in an open field at the top of a hill. The views were fantastic and to wake up to that each morning seemed great. But no sooner had we started setting up when the weather turned and the location became a major disadvantage. We considered moving when the weather didn't improve but this too would have been less than ideal. The other field was a steep slope and we heard from people that side, that the water ran straight down the hill through the tent. None of this was the fault of the owners but it is worth considering you will either be exposed or on a steep slope.
The site was clean and tidy but what really annoyed me was dog owners from the caravan area blatantly allowing their dogs to foul our field. I have 3 kids under 6yrs, this was a concern.
The toilet/shower blocks were perfectly adequate and cleaned regularly. We never got to use the indoor pool because it was always packed, again more the fault of the weather than the site.
On the whole this is a pretty good site and you cant go far wrong with location in Cornwall anyway. But as with a lot of sites you get the impression tents are less important than caravans

Just got back from our 10 day holiday at this park and I feel that I have to write to put the record straight on the reviews that are listed as you could be put off by this campsite because of them.
The staff that greet you at the entrance to the touring field are friendly and extremley helpful and we were able to pitch up where we liked. The pitches were large, we have a large car and the largest trailer tent and there was extra room left for other items i.E wasking lines wind breakers etc. The toilet/ shower and washing up rooms were spotless and they were cleaned 4 times a day, there was also no litter at all to be seen on the site. The clubhouse was very nice and so were the entertainment staff, swimming pool was warm at 30C, site had some slight hills but nothing compared to some that we have stayed at.
The beaches are breath takingly beautiful, ideally if you are taking alot of things to the beach you would be better to go by car but if you don't mind a walk then they are walkable. There are about 2 pubs in walking distance of the site and also a fantastic pub on the top coast road opposite the beaches. Don't be put off by the majority of other reviews this site is well worth a visit.

We own a one year old caravan on this site. Our pitch must be one of the best, it has great views of the sea, also views across the valley, the birds and wildlife are as diverse as you'd find anywhere. The staff are very obliging with no problem too much trouble. Dan the sales manager is a diamond, nothing too much trouble. The only bugbear we and our neighbours have is the car parking. Quite often last year we could not park anywhere near our 'van and had to park down the bottom and walk up.We noticed Quite a few other caravans had three or four cars to each one and this is really annoying as when I queried it I was told it was only one car per 'van, but who is supposed to police this? If this problem is not sorted soon I can see a lot of owners selling up which will be a great shame as it's a fantastic site apart from this.Hope someone reads this and does something about it soon. Thanks for listening to me rattle on!

We usually go camping but thought we would go in a caravan as my daughter was pregnant. I asked for a disabled caravan when we got there we was shown to a caravan with three steps going up to it luckily I could manage them. The caravan wasnt bad plenty of room even with five adults and three kids we was placed right opposite the swimming pool as near to the facilities as they could get us. The site was clean and tidy shop was small and fairly expensive even for a site shop. I only used the pool once - I went to use the pool once but found it was to cold for me. Even the kids had trouble staying in there for too long and wasnt heated as broucher stated. The club house was good they has some good acts and had a kiddys club that they all enjoyed. Would I go back there again maybe

We arrived to find the lady at reception reading a book (from which she did not look up from, I didnt catch the title unfortunately but it must of been good read ) A chap at the bar asked if it was our motorhome and pointed us in the right direction-a shed on the far field.
A polite warden in the shed took our details, handed us a toilet key and asked us to follow him. Then he stopped got out of his vehicle and asked for the key back as some one was already in our spot. We were shown our hardstanding-a patch of uneven hard mud.
So far not so good.
We had a look around and discovered the laundry room was a long way from our pitch as where most of the facilities.
The pool was very crowded and had no changing rooms!but did have an attendent(reading a book)
On the second night the boiler packed in, and our shower block had no hot water.
The beach was a drive away and not close by as depicted in the brochure.
The campsite itself was untidy with empty beer cans left in the water disposal points for the whole time we were here, the toilet block was unclean and the bins on site were overflowing.
There was nothing for the younger teenagers to do, and therefore there was a lot of them hanging around in large groups
I feel bad now for being so negative so I will throw in a few positives-
The nightly entertainment was good fun and they did a good job of entertaining the kids, and the food was cheap and the kids liked it.
The site is not far from Bude ,where you can find a co op and a morrisons.
Bude is quite nice to walk around.
The beach (widemouth bay )also looked nice and had plenty of parking for motorhomes.
The Manor pub was also a stones throw away and had the best kids play area I have ever seen (2 x bouncy castles, climbing frames ,slides, golf etc)The food was good too.

Having just returned from this site,we feel disappointed! There were 3 tourers in our group,2 of which were disabled. The site generally is very steep and not suitable for those with mobility problems. Consequently, the on site club/swimming pool could not be utilised unless travelled to by car. The access road on and off the site is poor being a very narrow single track road.P erhaps an extra road using a one way system would alleviate the problems this causes. On site lighting needs to be addressed as it is non existent and poses a hazard for those who are visually impaired at night. Toilet/showers blocks and the campsite was well kept by the caring, helpful and conscientious staff but the access was down a steep slope. The facilities in the disabled shower needs reviewing. The push button shower system is not suitable for people with disabilities as it gave approx 30 seconds of water each push and the seat in the shower is not sited correctly as only your feet and the floor get wet!

Nice campsite. Couple of shower blocks so we didn't have to queue at all. Nice shop though quite pricey. Pitches mostly on slight slopes and no marked out pitches which I really felt would have been better or just given an idea of where to pitch as we arrived late we were handed a map and told to find a pitch. Have to pay for freezing ice blocks which I find very annoying. Clubhouse was good and we saw a couple of good acts. Very reasonable campsite and we will return.
