We had a fantastic time at this well kept site.
Took a Patio pitch which had a small shed and patio area with table and chairs which was great as we stored bikes etc in shed and it kept awning tidy. Next to toilet/showers which were the best we have come across. Two baths if need be, and excellent spacious showers. Toilets and showers kept very clean.
Kids enjoyed the numerous play park options all within walking distance. St Andrews 5 mins away and Morrissons supermarket 10 mins. Craigtoun Meadow country park is a 4 min drive and well worth a visit.
On site is a small restaurant which we didn't try, games room which was handy and a table tennis option which we used a lot!
Overall a fantastic site, great for families and loads to do nearby.

Have just come back from craigtoun meadows site near st andrews. Was here for 4 days. Nice big pitches. Clean toilet block.
Great park for kids and fine and quiet even though it was bank holiday weekend.
Staff friendly and did all they can to help you. Will definitely come back and a bonus its only 40 minutes from home, fantastic.
Easy access to st andrews and all local facilities.
Craigtoun park next door to site for walks and letting kids run about

I pitched up here for 3 nights, the site is kept very neat and tidy and it's very quiet.
The is a few small play parks around which keeps the kids entertained but most important for the rainy days there is an indoor games room with air hockey, pool table and some amusement machines.
Showers blocks are fine, pitches are a good size although it can be a tight squeeze to reverse into your pitch if someone is opposite you.
On another note I had to pay when you book, you can't pay on arrival.
All in all I would go back as it is a very good site.

Stayed her with the wife and kids for 3 night and we had a brilliant time.
The facilities are brilliant, nice and clean and well maintained. Big enough to handle a busy site. Has baby changing area and baths and plenty showers. Building is central heated as well.
The staff we friendly and helpful and always had a smile.
Camping area was pretty flat and not lumpy. There were no stones but areas were a bit waterlogged after some heavy rain. Camping are was actually the grass next to a a pitch for trailers so elec. Hookup available and water at every pitch
Close to St Andrews so shops and food are close by.
Unfortunately no shop on site but does have a restaurant at at night.
Good for the kids as has a baby changing area and playpark.
Overall a good stay.

Lovely clean site. Large pitches for caravan, awning and car. Hardstanding but able to use plastic pegs on awning. With own water tap and hook up. Nice walks in the park. Lovely play areas for children in various areas Toilet block kept very clean. With showers baths and baby changing facilities.
Bin area and chemical waste area kept spotless.
Also do patio pitches which have a small patio and shed. Ideal if you have bikes etc.
Would have like to have a wee shop to be able to buy rolls ect but Morrisons only 5 min drive away.
Would definitely recommend and would go back. Staff very friendly, peaceful area though 5mins from St Andrews town itself. With lovely beach and rock pools for the kids to rummage in.

We have just returned from the Easter weekend staying at this site. Pitch size was huge so plenty of space for our car and awning.
Really nice facilities for children with nice walks around the campsite. Play area near the caravans for younger children and another large play area on site for all ages.
Toilets and showers very clean and we never had to queue in the morning for a shower, despite the site being full.
Only criticism would be that the on site restaurant does not offer take away food and it would be nice if they could perhaps offer a couple of dishes on a take-away basis.
Other than that, great site and would highly recommend.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at Craigtoun Meadows Caravan Park, just outside St Andrews. Overall this is a lovely site with a mixture of static caravans and a large area for tourers and tents. There is a small children's play area and access to a much larger area a short walk from the main tourer site.
Our pitch was generous - we opted for the Large Pitch and it was more than adequate for our caravan, awning and car, and there was a small grassy area to the right hand side of the awning. One small point that we thought was a bit strange was that the site insisted that cars are parked on the right hand side of the awning/caravan. This meant that you had to go around your car in order to take advantage of the grassy area. Larger pitches (I think they are called superior or premium pitches) are also available, these come with a shed for storage and with patio tables and chair for use during your stay. Electric hook up and water are available at each individual pitch.
The toilet block is well situated and has a mixture of shower cubicles (unisex) and individual bathrooms, as well as a fully equipped and adapted wet room for individuals with mobility problems. There are also separate ladies and gents loos.
The shower block was modern and reasonably clean, towards the end of the day it was a bit obvious that there had been a heavy flow of traffic through them. One thing we found a bit off putting was that the water from the shower cubicles all flow into each other, there is no divider or 'lip' that stops the water from the person having a shower next to you flowing down into your shower. Unless you have the cubicle at the end, everyone who is showering to your right's dirty water is flowing down into your shower cubicle. This might not be too much of an issue to some but we found it a bit disconcerting. Also, the shower cubicles themselves have nothing to stop the water from yours (and others) shower flowing into the drying area of your cubicle, so bear this in mind when getting dried! Having said this, the cubicles were generous with a bench seat and a couple of hooks.
A rather old fashioned and limp hairdryer is available for use free of charge, it seems out of place with the rest of the modern shower block and was a bit ineffectual.
There is a cafe serving meals, snacks etc on site, we didn't use it but it looked good. There is also a small games room (air hockey 50p a go, etc) and because the weather was so nice there was a table tennis table set up outside. Out older children used this a little bit in the evenings. St Andrews is a 5 min car journey away, and is great for a day's exploring; go the the Abbey and medieval cemetery for a fascinating couple of hours, and if the weather is fine there are two lovely beaches in St Andrews, we plumped for the harbour beach which is a bit more sheltered that the main one. There are loads of other things to do nearby.
Despite the minor grumble with the showers we would definitely go back to this site.

Went her for a long weekend and was quite happy with the site, toilets were clean and warm, loads of showers and the dish washing part was clean to.
Kids play parks were good and the large one at the back of the park was great. Really quiet and peaceful site although it was busy it was quiet.
Wardens patrol frequently. Water supply and separate hook up for each pitch. Pitches were large and flat.
Thought it was a bit expensive for what you got. But was clean and tidy. Would go back to this again, thought it was pretty good.

Just back from a 3 day stay here, we loved the site. Its was quite full but did not seem too busy, the site was quite by 10.30 pm. The toilets and showers were great with piping hot water.
The play areas next to the pitches were small but very safe and the large palypark was only a two minute walk away. Excellent base for exploring St Andrews and the east neuk.
We visited cambo gardens (5 quid to get in nice enough but more of a private garden open for viewing rather than a place to spend the day visiting), St Andrews award wining beach (brilliant, sun, warm water and ice cream shop, what more could you want!), St Andrews Botanic garden (we loved it, lots of squirrel, duck/bird spotting for the 4 year old and a lovely garden and glass houses for the adults).
Would definitely recommend a visit here and will probably go back at some point.

Good Points: It was a really good holiday park, the toilets were never closed and were always clean. The showers are mixed and also always open and clean(and pretty big!) and they also have two full sized baths, which again were always open and always very clean!
There is a small children's playground next to the toilet block and a much bigger one about a minute or so away (still part of the campsite) with swings, a see-saw, slides, football goals, basketball net, putting practice, a flying fox and much more.
It is just a short drive (or walk or cycle) to Craigtoun Country Park where there is lots to do and a great day out.
They have 2 game rooms, the first one has two pool tables, a dance machine, air hockey, a game called aliens, a claw machine and some other things and has a change machine for £1 and £2 coins. The second one is smaller and has a claw machine, a football game, one of the football thingys where you move the players and some other things.
There is a table tennis/ping pong table outside(but in good condition) and is only 50p an hour and the ball and racket things are provided.
There are a lot of other good things but then I would have to many things!
Bad points:
Nothing really!
