June 2005 This was the first site we stayed on and have just been for a return visit even though we only live 25mins away! The facilities are second to none, I have never seen such an abundance of showers, baths, toilets, washrooms and baby changing facilities on any site here or abroad. Everything is spotless and the grounds are very well kept, its like pitching in a beautiful garden!
Our tent pitch even had a wooden bench and somewhere to put the bbq. It is very reasonable and pitches all have electric at no extra cost. A must visit! Fife is a great place not just for golfers! plenty for everyone, don't miss the East Neuk fishing villages.

September 2004 Went to this site for the Leuchars Airsow and was a bit apprehensive when entering the site as it looked expensive. Mind soon put at rest by two very helpful receptionists and was surprised to find that they were actually cheaper than the last site we visited in St Andrew's.
Site is extremelly well laid out and the grassed area is so well kept that you could play professional bowls on it.
Toilet Block:: well words cannot express these facilities. They are so clean (and I'm not joking) you could eat your dinner off the floors. They accomodate for every eventuallity as they have baby changing rooms, baths, and in the shower cubicles there are pull down child seats in the walls that you can strap your baby into while you have a shower.
Easy access to shops 2 miles away in centre of St Andrews or Dundee 12 miles. Sandy beaches in Town and well placed for touring the Fife Tourist route.
One Final word of Advice: When we went we were asked for proof of caravan insurance when booking in. 1st time I have come accross this but it is a welcome idea.

August 2004 Very clean and well looked after site with excellent facilities - they've even got private bathrooms (with baths and unlimited hot water!)
A couple of downsides though - the groundstaff make an early start and you can hear their tractor start up from 100 yards away every morning at around 8am, so if you did fancy a lazy morning take your earplugs!
There is an onsite coffee shop/restaurant - even though there was only one other couple in there, they wouldn't serve us with just a coffee without food, so we never got to sample it.
There's also a shop, tennis court & games room (they don't rent any equipment though but will sell you them from the shop), info room and laundry room.
Overall a nice, clean site with excellent facilites but considering how empty & quiet the site was during our stay, I felt that the staff could have been a little more relaxed with their routines and been a little more welcoming. This park runs like a well oiled machine, but a personal touch works wonders sometimes!

June 2001 Winner of the AA's prestigious 'Best Scottish Campsite for 2002' award. Craigtoun Meadows Holiday Park is a very well layed out site. with something for everyone. We were lucky with excellent weather the weekend we were there. We took a trip into St. Andrews for the day and spent the afternoon on the beach. St Andrews is a very busy tourist attraction with plenty to see and do. Next to the holiday park is Craigtoun Meadows Country Park which is an excellent facility with plenty for both young and not so young alike. I would highly recommend this site to anyone who is thinking of visiting St. Andrews.
