Booked at last minute so did not know what to expect. Literally 2 mins from M5 jct 11 so especially brilliant for transit stops north or south.
Karen & kevin made us so welcome. This certainly feels a family run operation and nothing seems to much trouble.
The site has a slightly tight turn in if you over 33 ft but really no drama. EHU on decent size pitches but if you are a RV no water or waste on pitch but as we are staying for a weekend this again is no drama.
The site itself is spotless, hedges, plants, trees all trimmed and looking neat. Toilet block is not very large but very clean, warm, free hairdryer, showers and a nice bit of radio to listen to whilst you shower.
No wifi on site
Bus route is 3 min walk away, gloucester and cheltenham easy bus ride away ( about 14 - 20 mins )
Max 10 min walk to asda ( karen gave us local knowledge short cut )
A little bit of road noise from the rear of the site but this is not overbearing at all, same as the occasional train - really not an issue.
Not a lot of kids to do but very safe for children.
Overall we hope this is a cracking site, friendly helpful owners, clean, local to towns and very easy to get to. We would certainly stay here again :-)

Firstly a few words about the site location - if you are after a central base to explore Cheltenham then you won't find much better - it's right in the town just behind a large Asda and some DIY sheds.
It appears to sit in the middle of a housing estate and is a very small site - upon arrival we were told to pitch anywhere we wanted but due to the fact that the site is primarily a caravan/motorhome site with hard standing the number of locations for us to pitch our camper van and awning were a little limited.
We managed to find a pitch but unfortunately it was right next to a major road so the noise was a bit much at times - especially early morning/late evening rush hour time. There is also a high speed rail line that runs across the back of the site - again a bit noisy.
The facilities on site were fine - the toilet block is clean and well maintained - the single shower in each of the male/female toilets was fine but could do with a bit of modernisation. The piped music in the toilet block was a great touch!
The site is very quiet indeed - we felt like we were a bit too noisy with our 6 kids (ages ranging from 16 to 3). There is not a great deal of space to play games.
If you are a proper motorhome or caravan owner then I think this site would be great for you - for camping in an actual tent then not as good unfortunately.

We used this site as a stopover on our way down south. It is very close to the M5 and there is a Asda near by to fill up with fuel also within walking distance is a Harvester Pub and bus stops. In 20 years of caravanning this was the warmest welcome we have ever received. A lovely little site with good clean facilities and very friendly wardens who do a very good job. We will use this site again and maybe stay a while longer in the area.

A big thankyou yet again for a great few days for the Cheltenham racing festival. The staff were brilliant as usual, the campsite immaculate. You are very welcoming and helpful and cant wait to come back again. Great bus service, shops close by and everything on site you need, from the 3 ladies who you always have to help !.

This is a great little site, which is very handy for both Cheltenham and Gloucester and is situated very close to the M5 motorway so can be used either for visiting the local area or as a transit stop when travelling north or south.
There are good easily accessed hard standing and grass pitches with good access around the site. There is room for large tag axel units.
All the main facilities are available if a little dated in some respects but clean with plenty of hot water and heated while we were there. There is currently no wifi, but it is in the process of being provided the owners advise. The site is totally dog friendly. A little rail and road noise but it is not at all intrusive.
The owners explained that the site was left empty for about 10 years until a year or so ago when they purchased it and they are now in the process of bring things into the 21st century.
There are restaurants, pubs, take-aways (deliver to site), newsagent, supermarket (ASDA) and vets within walking distance.
The owners, Kevin and Karen are very helpful and nothing appears to be too much trouble. They are a hive of information about the area - just ask.
We paid £64 for 4 nights between Christmas and New Year including hook up, the dog and our daughter visiting for a couple of days.
Highly recommended.

My friend and I stayed here with our 3 kids for a long weekend in August as a base to go to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. What a wonderful little campsite. The family running it couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. We were given a lovely big pitch for my trailer tent and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Toilet and shower facilities were small but well kept and clean. And so close to Cheltenham with a Morrisons and KFC down the road. Will definitely use again for a more thorough explore of Cheltenham.

We stayed here for 2 nights after picking up our new caravan from Pearman Briggs just a mile away.
The site is immaculate and the warden is very friendly and helpful.
Great Chinese takeaway that delivers to site, good shops all locally, will try and pop back someday.

Stopped off at this delightfully site on the way south. The wardens could not have been more friendly/help full. Facilities were clean and was within walking distance of a supermarket. The only negative if you can call it that was it was in the middle of a housing estate, despite this it is a secure site. We were given the choice of pitches and grass or hard standing. We would definitely return and stay longer.

My friends and I visited for the Cheltenham racing for 3 nights, the campsite was immaculate, it is convenient for the town centre and racecourse, the wardens could not be more helpful the best we have encountered. I would recommend this site to anyone, and will hopefully be returning one day. The toilet block was very clean with books and magazines. There is a small shop nearby and the bus stop was a minutes walk. We were 3 ladies alone and felt the area was safe and the warden offered to help us with hitching up if we needed it.

This was a very convenient site, with good bus routes into Cheltenham and Gloucester. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night, as a stop off and went to Cheltenham for the day. We were able to do this because the staff had no rules about when we had to leave and could not have been more accommodating. We left early evening the next day.
The shower and toilet block was great. We live in the North and love going to Devon and Cornwall and will definitely use this site again. Excellent !
