What a lovely friendly site.
We stayed here for 2 nights to visit my wife's sister who had just had a baby.
The site is in a good location with a regular bus route into Cheltenham and Gloucester within a short walk from the site. There is also a local newsagent and vet within a few minutes walk and a slightly further walk to a out of town shopping area with a B&Q, Bargain warehouse, Pets at home & an Asda.
The site is also fairly near a pub called the Hatherley which is a nice pub with a beer garden, it is a bit tricky to find so ask for directions or use a GPS.
The site is small and well kept and very quiet. The only noise we heard was an occasional train which passes near the site but that was never a problem.
There is a small and basic Toilet block with 1 shower in each block (ladies, Gents & Disabled) and a washing up area and chemical toilet disposal point. This wasn't a problem for us and we never had to queue to have a shower.
There was grass and some hard standings and electric hook ups, and a variety of tents, vans and caravans on site and some people were obviously regular visitors or were staying for longer periods of time. What we liked was everyone was friendly and you were made to feel very welcome.
The site is very dog friendly and Bernie was amazing with our puppy layla and kept an eye on her when we had to pay a visit to the hospital.
We would definitely stay again when in that area and recommend it to others as long as you don't expect Caravan Club type toilet facilities.

We went to Stansby for a quick local weekend trip, essentially to be closer to our dealer on the Monday morning to be able to drop the van off for its annual service before going on to work.
The site is easy to find and signposted from the main road. We pulled up at the gate to the site and were warmly greeted by the owner who opened the gate and directed us to the wardens motor home. The wardens were equally friendly, and walked us around the flat site showing us the vacant pitches. Their were hard standing and grass pitches available, with the weather so good we opted for a grass pitch. We thought the hard standing pitches looked a harsh as they were made up of large grey stone but saying that would be more than happy to be on one should it have been a winter visit.
Conscious of road noise coming from the left, location of the large car park and the static home site on the right, we opted for a pitch at the back of the site with a very large hedge behind us. Half way through pitching up we realised that the high hedge was in fact hiding a railway line! so much for picking a quiet pitch!
The toilet block is in the middle of the site and consisted of two toilets and one shower for each sex, washing up area and chemical toilet disposal. The toilet block was IMMACULATE and concerns that there would be queues with there only being one shower were unfounded, which was a surprise as the site was actually fairly full. Mostly with seasonal's!
The seasonal's are actually the only thing that would put us off returning, most were obviously 'full time seasonal's' with large TV aerials yet no sign of the occupants other than seeing their windows open and closing. They really made the site lose its 'holiday' feeling. We enjoy the hubble bubble of a campsite people laughing, bbq's sizzling and the opportunity to pass the time of day the neighbours.
Location for Cheltenham is perfect, park and ride into cheltenham and a large Asda and a small retail park and Harvester within 5 mins.

Very friendly staff, and pleasant owner. Very clean facilities. We only stayed 4 nights, but it was very quiet and easy to find. Only 5 minutes from Asda, or a trip into town. We used the sat-nav to go sight-seeing and found our way back easily too. It is a small site but that suited us and it is very basic but comfy with good neighbours. If you want basic, then I recommend this to anyone, though it has electricity and hot showers!

We have visited Stansby Touring Caravan Park twice in the last two weeks, firstly for our inaugural rally for Tourers and Tents Owners Club and then the following weekend for a quiet relaxing weekend as a couple.
I can not say how impressed I am with the site, the owner is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, he has done a great job with the site from what it was two years ago when he bought it. He is supported by his wardens who also do a great job and are always their to answer any questions. The grass area is immaculately kept with nice trees and plants. We were offered hard standing or grass pitch but we always prefer grass for our little girl to play on.
The toilet block is well equip with a shower and two toilets for men and women. It has a proper elsan point. The electric hook up points are 16amp so even with our heavy usage caravan we had no problems with the electric cutting out. The location is perfect it is only a short drive into Cheltenham or there is a park and ride into Cheltenham at the end of the road. Morrisons and Asda are only 1 mile away. Gloucester Quays and other retail parks are nearby. The House in the Tree Pub is about 3 miles away but is well worth a visit!

A small site situated just off the A40 near Cheltenham. Very quiet. Two toilets, one shower for the males, same for the females. Outside washing up facility. It is very clean with well kept pitches. A credit to the wardens, who live on site. This site has a horse shoe shape road with gravel pitches around it. There is then a further horse shoe shape with grass pitches. No shop or other on site facilities. There is a massive Adsa and B&Q within walking distance. The site is close to a park and ride to get into Cheltenham. This is no children's play area. I booked locally to try out our TT and so would not be using it again, I would recommend this site. Perhaps more towards couples without children, purely because there is nothing on site for them. It would also be a shame to break the silence.

We spent a very happy Bank Holiday Weekend at this site, arrived on the Friday and was greeted by the warden and shown were to pitch our tents. All weekend he was at hand in case we needed anything. The facilities were of a very high standard and total weird to have music playing in the shower room while showering, but absolute fun.
All shops are a walking distance away and pub near by. Would we go again ? We have already booked for July.

Just found a lovely caravan/motorhome site. This site is very relaxing and peaceful plus everyone are so friendly.
The warden and is wife help you no end with anything you want to know. The toilet block and shower plus the disable toilet was very clean. It's on a bus route so easy to get into Cheltenham town centre. They do not have a shop on site but it's only minutes away from 2 supermarkets.
It's only 5 - 10 minutes from the motor way and a great stop if you are heading down south as we come from Yorkshire.
This will be our first stop when we go to Cheltenham again.
