We stayed here last week. What an excellent site. Lovely hot showers, washing up water etc. Kids loved the play area, too. Apart from a few probs erecting our Royal Biarritz (Mon and Tues were WINDY!) we had a fantastic time. It was nice and quiet, the kids made a load of friends and there are some nice walks in the vicinity. We will definetely be going here again next year. Highly recommended!

September 2005 Excellent site. We are a family of 6 and this was our 1st go at camping. We could not have picked a better site. Unlike many sites that charge you per adult, child, tent, car, gazebo, and anything else they can think of, Boscrege charge per pitch, and it only cost us £6.75 per night (yep for ALL 6 of us), this included FREE hot water, FREE showers, and FREE washing up liquid provided to wash pots. We camped in the main field that has a kids climbing frame in the centre, so we could watch the children at all times. The field was huge and gave enough space for the kids to play. A small games room had a few slot machines a T/V and a pool table (a little worn but at least the kids were allowed to play). The owners were both helpful and friendly and the camp warden (Andy) always had time for the kids. We found the toilets and showers to be always clean. The nearest beach (Praa sands) is around a 7-8 minute drive away, Helston only 10 mins away where you will find a large Tesco for shopping. Oh and a very good chip shop also in Helston. We shall be back next year.

August 2005 Great site! Congratulations to the owners who are refusing to accommodate more sites on their pitch. Clever layout (though perhaps a little cramped to each side on some pitches) with sites around the perimeter of a huge field. Lovely for the kids who all play all sorts of games on an evening in the middle of the field. All goes quiet at 10pm which is fantastic. Clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water. Lovely beaches nearby (few miles) with plenty of parking places (£2/day) - well worth it. Would recommend wholeheartedly! Thanks for a lovely holiday.

August 2004 Lovely little campsite. Friendly owners. There are two main camping fields, each with a small play area for children in the middle of the field. In the main field, tents and touring caravans are sited around the perimeter of the fields with a huge area left free in the middle for the children to play games.
We liked the park because we could be in the caravan but still see the children playing on the adventure playground in the middle. Also, there was plenty of room for playing frisbee, cricket, football or flying kites again where we could keep an eye on the kids.
The facilities are not particularly swish, but everything you need is there. The free hot showers are well thought out with plenty of pegs for hanging up clothes (so many sites seem to expect you to be able to hang up all your clothes, your childs clothes and your towels on just one peg!!) and they were the only showers I have found where there was still a bit of dry floor left to get changed on without getting your trouser legs wet on the sopping floor!! There is a laundry with tumble driers and also rotary driers for hanging up clothes if the weather is good. There is a small shop and the owner hires out some games for kids.
There was also a nice walk from the site up a nearby hill with good views to Land's End and the Lizard.
The nearest beach is a 3 min drive away.
We would definitely go back.

July 2004 Having found the campsite with no problems very pleasant campsite within easy reach of a variety of walks beaches and attractions. Campsite very well maintained and owners very friendly and only too happy to help out where they can. Quiet and well worth a visit.

May 2004 Really nice quiet (no pub/club) site, in lovely setting. Owners are very friendly and welcoming, open plan level site with tents around the edge sheltered by small tree's with the rest of the field for the kids playground and games (get them at reception), which the owner keeps clear of tents, even when busy. Dog walk fields are teeming with rabbits giving the dog plenty of exercise. Showers are clean with free hot water and low level facilities for kids, the only campsite I know to supply free washing-up liquid, small coin operated laundry with tumble driers for damp weather and rotary driers for fine weather.
