Friendly welcome to a very impressive site.
Small touring area, but plenty of room for our caravan (7.3m) plus awning and car on our pitch.
Toilets and shower block kept clean.
Well worth paying a visit to the on site clubhouse and pool which is run by friendly staff.
Twenty minute walk into village centre of Cenarth.
Nearest town, Cardigan not that good, bit disappointing.
Will return at some point in the future.

We arrived on a Thursday evening. the lady at reception was very pleasant and directed us to our pitch. The tent had to be pitched on a hard standing which was not very comfortable to walk on in bare feet. Nevertheless the site was very nice and well cared for. We had quite a spacious plot along side the road as the weekend progressed the pitches got filled up and for many in the center plots it seemed quite crowded. There was no place for the children to kick a ball no bikes are allowed in the touring field, we were told, but many children did ride their bikes in there . To use the toilet you had to use a key which did get very frustrating if you were to forget it! The toilets are of a good standard and so were the showers. Also very hot water for dish washing. There are many rules governing the swimming pool many for safety reasons but they did seem a bit extreme.

Nice well kept site! Touring area a little cramped, felt too closed in! We were on pitch 29 which was sort of in the middle of nowhere, with a large tent at the side of us, whose guy lines were almost touching our motorhome! Toilets clean and tidy but couldn't help but notice a nasty smell coming from the drains, had to wait for the shower to become available in the mornings, seemed a lot quieter at night. Only 2 toilets and 2 showers one of which was disabled! Nice laundry room with freezer for all to use!cleanest chemical disposal I have ever seen! nice reception area selling sweets and ice cream for the kids, with a small games room attached (really think this should be down by the clubhouse). Opposite reception was a little path leading to the play park and the outdoor pool, which was only small but looked nice! Down the hill is the coracles club, didn't use the gym or indoor pool so cant comment. The entertainment room fair size, with a conservatory off it which was a small restaurant (long wait for the food and very pricey) also pricey for drinks at the bar! There is a pool table by the bar but for over 14's only. Watched the entertainment 2 nights, pretty good! Lovely walk down to falls, very pretty! Had a meal in the three horse shoes, nice food but pricey again! Lucky with the weather stayed Friday to tuesday of whit half term, Saturday onwards was boiling, sunburnt on the sunday! I have to say I've never been to a site where everybody is really friendly, staff and campers! Cardigan only about a 15-20 min drive, nice little town! Highly recommend driving a little further on towards fishguard, stopping at newport beach, fabulous little beach, stunning views and if you really have a few hours to kill carry on through Newport, then dinas through Fishguard, head for st Davids (seen Cerys Matthews with her kids) follow the road through solva and you end up in Newgale, what a Beach! On a nice day it's like being abroad! Back to the campsite, yes it was lovely and well maintained but then a little too cramped with no views, probably would return but maybe off peak!

Immaculate site, very clean and well kept, staff very friendly and helpful. The touring field was a little to cramped for our liking and the children's park was too far away for little ones as you could not keep an eye on them. There was no space on the touring field when full for the children to play. A little more green area for playing and a few less pitches would make a big difference, but we don't all want the same !
Great site for fishing in cenarth, did not find many walks though. Lovely beaches by car.

We had a weekend at this campsite at the end of the school holidays - so it was quite busy. The weather had been wet previously so pitches were a little muddy however there are concrete studs so you aren't going to get stuck.
The site was busy but we didn't have to wait for anything and found facilities very clean at all times.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and we had a good stay.

Lovely clean campsite and I'd recommend it for tents and tourers. The site has small but clean facilities including laundrette, games room, indoor swimming pool (charge), outdoor swimming pool, entertainment in high season (average), sauna, jacuzzi.
Pitches of a decent size, however pitch 24 is susceptible to flooding if heavy rain so don't pitch a tent on it!
Staff are welcoming and helpful.
Area is lovely with short drives to beautiful beaches. 1/2 mile away are Cenarth falls (great for Salmon fishing) and a superb pub for food and local ales!

The bad bits : Have just returned from a week here, and granted the weather hasn't been too kind this summer, but our pitch was far too compact to get away from the appalling ground quality. Where the edge of the pitch had been churned up a layer of sand had been added, which subsequently became airborne during very heavy rain, splattering everything up to a foot above the ground. The pitches were uncomfortably close together, no privacy whatsoever. The good bits : As previously stated, on other reviews, the facilities and their cleanliness are first class. The indoor pool is clean and warm, BUT is 1.4 metres deep throughout, and so is a worry with young children. The outdoor pool is again, lovely and clean, but absolutely freezing. We ate at Coracles, a little expensive maybe, but a great meal, BUT we had to wait an hour between courses, the service was terrible. Cenarth itself has 2 good pubs with local ales BUT expect to pay £7 to £10 for bar food main course.

This is our second visit to this campsite. On both occasions, we were very pleased. This time we went, the weather was very hot and we used the outdoor pool. The area around the poolside is very clean and very well maintained. There is a good children's play area here as well. On site, there is a Health Club (Coracles) which had entertainment, and there is also an indoor pool and sauna etc available at a small extra cost. We didn't use it at the weather was fab. The toilet and shower block are spotless, and you are given a key to enter it. There are two showers in the ladies, but saying that, I never had to wait. A short walk takes you into the small village of Cenarth where you can enjoy the falls, or have a drink or meal in the local pub.

We were also there for Whit Half Term - pitched on number 25. Parents next door on 24 in caravan. Nice site, clean toilets / showers but only 2 showers and 2 toliets, never queued though. We did join the Health Club - £50.00 for a family pass for 6 days, pit pricey but nice after a day out. We ate at the club too, lovely food, again pricey. The pitches, I found were very close together, which I didn't really like. But they were level. You can walk into Cenarth and there is a garage with large shop attached. Couple of pubs in the village, nice food. Aberporth beach well worth a visit as is Tenby beach.

Stayed here for 4 nights over Whit half term in a tent. 2 kids (10 & 6yrs), 2 adults.
Site: Small but very picturesque. Pitches very well sized but a touch too close to each other. Site bit on the pricey side, we paid £25.00 a night for 4 nights due to it being Whit-sun half term and our tent was large 12ft by 12ft. You get charged extra for an awning due to tent size?? Staff very pleasant and most helpful.
Amenities: Excellent shower block, very clean and well maintained. But only one shower and one disabled shower in toilets. And showers right next to toilets with no full height divide, not a good idea. With 30 pitches and majority of them caravans with their own amenities we never had to queue. No site shop but a few shops just down the road including pub takeaway.
Eating out: Restaurant on site with pub/club indoor pool, but again pricey £11.00 for just a main meal. We never ate here. Wife tried pool but a bit on the deep side for kids 1.42 mtrs all the way around. Tried the pub takeaway. £3.50 Chicken nuggets and chips.
Things to do: Excellent beaches very close by. We tried Aberporth. It was fantastic. Very sheltered, nice and clean and only 10 min drive away. Visited Cardigan Island and Farm/Park. Well worth a visit. Not too busy and play area for kids. Animals to feed (you can buy food in site shop) Lovely walk and we saw Sea lions but not the dolphins. Fantastic scenery. Lovely walks around site such as the Cenarth Falls.
Would I go back?: Bit on the pricey side for a camping holiday. But we certainly enjoyed it.
