 Having a few days free and with fine weather forecast, we booked in, to be told they had room for us. Given that our last few visits we've been the only ones on site, we thought we might have some company - and we did. One camper van arrived and parked along side us for a couple of days.
The trees were just coming into leaf and the birds were singing their heads off the whole time we were there. As usual, we used the site as a base for a couple of really strenuous cycle rides and were glad of the piping hot water in the showers.
As it was our 48th wedding anniversary we booked a meal at the Three Horseshoes pub in the village. It's now run as a Steak and Burger restaurant and the food we had was scrumptious, certainly the best steak I've ever had.
Unfortunately, the toilets in the gents were "playing up' the following morning, which was apparently due to the septic tank being full, but things did improve.
We chose to use the Coracles leisure centre as usual, bit were shocked to find that the price had doubled. This was down to a complete refurbishment, which was a shock to the system on entering. We've always enjoyed the amount of light within the conservatory style swimming pool, but it has now been done out with black walls and ceiling with what appears to be a moving milky way and star pattern on the ceiling. Thankfully the jacuzzi was working this time, as was the newly fitted steam room. The whole area has been given an upmarket feel to it.
We enjoyed a peaceful last night and went into the reception area before leaving, to thank the receptionist for our stay. Just as we were leaving, we were asked if we knew that the touring section was closing on the 1st of May and was being converted to a lodge area.
So, from now on, no touring caravans or motorhomes allowed on site. After enjoying this park for over eleven years we are mightily disappointed to know that tourists are no longer welcome and that the new owners are apparently only interested in generating more income from upmarket lodges.
Which makes this review pretty pointless when all said and done, but at least it may warn others that they'll not be able to come again in future,

Three years on from our last visit (see below) we discovered the site to be under new ownership with lovely friendly receptionists (as were the previous staff) who couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant.
We were the only ones staying on the touring section, so it was really peaceful.
Although free wi-fi was promised, we couldn't get a signal at all, though the new owners are apparently hopeful of getting it boosted.
As parts of the Coracle Leisure Centre were awaiting an upgrade, the indoor swimming pool was free to use and the second time we used it, we had it to ourselves for an hour.
As ever, the facilities block was immaculately clean and while we were on site, some contractors cut the grass around all the pitches and it looked splendid.
We hope to revisit once the site reopens next year and are looking forward to seeing how the new owners can possibly improve things.

What a lovely site! One of the best or maybe even the best site we’ve been to.
It was immaculately kept and the facilities were all kept very clean. It was very peaceful with a quiet period from 10pm to 6 am which suits us fine - an undisturbed sleep.
The touring section has 28 good sized level pitches situated at the top of a static caravan park which was also kept very well. Each with EHU and two water supply taps at each side of the park.
Staff are really pleasant and the park has 2 swimming pools, one inside (heated) and one outside (unheated). There is pizza available on a weekend.
A short walk into the village with a couple of pubs, a cafe and a small supermarket in the garage. A little more expensive than we normally like to pay at £26 but was worth it.

Fantastic site
Thirty generously spaced pitches all hard standing, small clippings on a purpose under flooring. Awning pegged in easily.
All pitches are based around key accessibility toilet and shower facilities that are properly covid cleaned.
Tarmac travel areas meant the kids could scooter and cycle. There is a great child’s park and outdoors swimming pool plus a club house all incorporating covid precautions. Fantastic site and maintained to the highest standards.
New to towing, this site has excellent accessibility.
Locality, short drive to beaches and towns for bodyboarding and shopping respectively.

I can't believe no-one has reviewed this site since my last one from March last year.
Amazingly, we were all on our lonesome again for the first night, although one caravan and another motorhome appeared for our last two.
This site is in a glorious location and the autumn colours were spectacular on site.
The local waterfalls were in full spate and were an incredible sight.
Although we normally cycle, nuevogirl is currently recovering from a hip replacement operation, so it was the local buses for us this time. One to Newcastle Emlyn and the following day to Cardigan. Both drivers were happy to drop us off near the caravan park entrance, which saved the old legs a bit.
We had a swim & jacuzzi in the on site Coracles leisure centre on two occasions and on one evening went into the bar/lounge for superbly fresh pizzas.
I think we've stayed on this site more than any other and we love it. Go, give it a try!

Two nights spent on all our lonesome on this lovely site, just after the mini Beast from the East had left.
We had two glorious days of sunshine, taking in the delights of Cenarth with the wonderful Falls in full flow and the village looking gorgeous with the spring flowers abounding.
The site was as pristine as ever and we took the opportunity of using the swimming pool and jacuzzi in Coracles leisure centre on site.
£18 a night well spent.

Lovely little site segregated from the static park. Good, clean, modern facilities. Friendly owners. Short walk to Falls and village where there are two pubs, a shop and a garage. £20 pn for two people with electricity and hardstanding. Recommended.

West Wales secret garden. Spotless clean and well manicured. Need to pre book as places fairly limited and set among static homes. Prepare to recycle. This is a proper little find. Warm welcome and come and go as you please. Secluded club house with bar, gym, indoor pool and occasional take out food. Outdoor poor is fantastic and nestled behind children's play area that is also very easy on the eye. Wifi and tv signal all fine. Close to cenarth falls and local pubs and 15 mins to the coast at cardigan. Will be coming back. Don't think I've ever given a 10?

Wow, what a site, immaculately kept, outdoor pool was great for our few days as it was 25c
All services are first class, just a ten minute walk to the falls and the pubs there is a few restaurants down there but nothing special
This site comes out number one in my list
Flawless, will definitely be going back

We rang ahead to say would be arriving about 5pm on a Sunday. We were advised that reception and club would be closed but to go to the house. This I did to be directed to the club, but thankfully noticed an envelope on the reception with a site number and key for toilets. Never been here before but found the pitch OK. The pitch was quite sloping, hardstanding with some grass - more than our ramps could cope with and would have been very close to the next caravan had there been one but there was only one other van on site. The toilets were spotless but lights went off automatically and not always at a convenient time. Motorhome service point was in a position that was impossible to get your motorhome to but they did offer to lift a drain cover in another part of the site. The clubhouse looked great but was in darkness and although they eventually served my husband a drink they left him alone in the dark whilst I had my swim in the cold indoor pool. We were on the site for 2 nights and never saw the club open. The outdoor pool looked great and I'm sure children would love this when weather permits. There was also a nice children play area but both these facilities were near the statics. Overall we were very disappointed. Cenarth is well worth a visit and an easy walk from the site. A supermarket is just a 5mins walk.
