 We have just come back from staying at Retanna and really felt that we had to leave a review.
This site is perfect for us. We have two children, 8 and 6 and they loved the playpark. We liked the fact that we could easily see them playing from our pitch.
The new shower/toilet block is excellent and it did not matter what time we showered there was always hot water.
The really great thing about this site were the people who ran it. They were so friendly and did everything they could to help us have a great stay - so a big thank you to them.
If you stay on this site you can get to Sennan Beach in about 45 minutes - this beach has to be visited, it is beautiful. We were very lucky with the weather and spent our days on the beach surfing.
All in all this is one of the best holidays we have had. Thanks to all at Retanna.

We stayed at Retanna for the first time for two weeks in our touring caravan.
The site is very well kept with friendly staff and a good, reasonably priced shop on site.
We were pitched near the children's play area which was ideal for us with two children. The site states the reasonable times for them to play so no late night noise from the play area as everyone respected the times.
This site is an excellent base for touring the southern Cornwall area and nothing is that far away enabling visits to St Ives, Lands End, Lizard etc.
Nearest Place is Porthlevan which has nice pubs and restaurants with a beautiful harbour.
All in all we could not criticise this site which has a brand new toilet / laundry block which was clean at all times during our stay.
I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a quiet, nicely run site and will definitely consider returning in the future.

I have stayed at this site several times over a period of eighteen years. I have hired their static caravans, used their touring caravan pitches and camping pitches. I will be returning this summer.
Retanna is a relatively small site, but very well kept and very pleasant. The toilet and shower facilities are adequate and very clean. There is a small shop, a games room for the kids and they offer take-away food. The staff is also very friendly and most helpful.
If you are looking for a quiet base from which to tour southern Cornwall, then Retanna is superb. I can thoroughly recommend this site.
