This is a really nice site, the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, all the facilities are kept clean and tidy even though we were the only tourer at the time. There is a 20p charge for 5 minute shower (get undressed before putting money in they start immediately).
The only downside for us as dog owners is there is nowhere to exercise them unless you walk on the road (no footpath or verge) for about 1/4 mile and pick up the path into St. Just, well worth the walk nice town.

Another fantastic holiday at Kelynack.
This is our 5th year in a row and wouldn't go anywhere else in Cornwall.
Brilliant site level, large pitches in main area.
Showers have been refurbished and are excellent.
Francis the owner treats his site as his baby and it shows, he will do anything to make your stay the best it can be.
I cannot praise this site enough, peace, quiet, St. Just is less than a mile away and is a great little village with anything you need.
Give this site a visit you won't be disappointed.

A perfect site for caravan and camping. We camped for three nights but would have stayed longer but for the weather. Despite this we really enjoyed the site and what it had to offer. The owner was very friendly and helpful and the amenities were literally first class. Very modern and clean and four genuine minutes for the showers at 20 pence too! The site is very well maintained and very pretty in a wonderful corner of Cornwall. Look forward to returning some day. Highly recommend

We love this campsite for the following reasons:
- the location in our favourite part of Cornwall for walking the coast path AND near the lovely town of St. Just with its wonderful Star Inn.
- the friendly owners who were welcoming, helpful and friendly. They lent us freezer blocks for the first night, looked out bus timetables for us, sold us milk, chatted about the area etc.
- the facilities were very good - loads of showers, a free hairdryer, washing up facilities, laundry room with spin dryer and tumble dryer, on site mini shop
- the field was flat, sheltered and not too big (although we had to drive through the caravan/large tent field which seemed to be incredibly tightly packed in with loads of cars everywhere)
- the price was very reasonable for Cornwall.
We stayed over the Bank holiday weekend and although the place was full we didn't have to wait for a shower. We were never woken up in the morning by noisy kids or kept awake at night by noisy adults.
We will certainly return to this site and highly recommend it if you want to stay in the area.
TIPS - take 40p into the shower - they sometimes take up to a minute (of the 4 minutes) to warm up! but then this was a busy weekend.

We stayed 10 nights at Kelynack and really enjoyed our stay. Frances and the team were very welcoming (home grown strawberries were a lovely touch).
The things we liked - large flat pitch, the fact that the grass when cut was picked up - nothing worse than trailing wet grass into the tent. Lovely walk to St Just and beyond, we walked everywhere and found the network of paths to be well sign posted.
The showers were warm with plenty of room to move around. I needed 40p for the shower but my husband managed with 20p, the proper hair dryer in the showers was a bonus. The showers were always spotless and despite the site being almost full I never had to wait.
The only down side is the site is in a dead zone, no telephone signal, no internet etc. This wasn't a huge issue but if it is a concern there is a private wi-fi provider which I believe you can pay for on site.
Overall this was a great camp site in a lovely area, not sure if we would make the long trip south again (12 hour car journey) but if we did we would certainly stay here again.

Have just come back from a touring caravan stay and must say it's the nicest we've stayed at. Frances was very helpful we hadn't taken a TV lead with us so he kindly lent us one and was extremely helpful at all times which was great and very welcoming. The weather was good which obviously helped and even though the park was very full it was nice and peaceful late in the evening and overnight. We had two little children with us and they enjoyed the small kids play area and the little stream by it. Good showers and loo facilities. We'd had our caravan in storage and it was all set up with the legs down ready for us to use. We visited Sennen, St Ives, Lands End and the Minack Theatre which were easily reached.

Stayed here for a week July 2014, my husband and I have stayed at a few campsites and according to reviews the owners were really helpful and friendly but we never really experiences anything special until we stayed at Kellynack. The owner was really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for him, eg ordering a paper for you, allowing you to keep bags of ice in his freezer until you needed them etc. We forgot our regulator for the gas cooker and he even loaned us one for free! The regulars were friendly too they made us feel really welcome. I would recommend this site to anyone and if we go down that way again we will be sure to book in at Kellynack.
Thank You so much for a great holiday.

Having read the reviews we where I am afraid we where a bit disappointed with this site, during the school holidays we found it too crowded and busy with the units very close together and lots of parked cars. The owner and team were very friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers ( coin operated ) where in excellent condition and kept very clean, but surprisingly the gents and pot washing area suffered from odours may be it was the warm weather. The location is good for the beach and village. The nearby airport you may find disturb you with the early morning flights. Their is a on site shop, some statistic caravans in a separate area and a few holiday cottages.

Had a fantastic time for 10 nights at Kelynack Caravan & Camping Park in June. Francis and all the team there couldn't have been more helpful. Great facilities in very pleasant surroundings with superb walks down to the beautiful Cot Valley and onto the wonderful coastal path. Also the site is very handy for the lovely little town of St Just, and only a short car ride to the surf beaches of Gwenver and Sennen Cove and the superb Minack open air Theatre. Francis even took the time to fix a damaged wire on our tow bar connecting lead. We would happily return!

A lovely little site with good, clean facilities. It was quite quiet when we were there in Mid-September.
The pitches are mostly fairly flat so levelling wasn't a problem.
The showers take a 20p piece for 4 minutes which is sufficient.
Although there isn't a dog walk on site, it is situated on a quiet lane which is perfect for taking pooch for walkies.
The walk into St Just is easy and worth the effort for a pint in the Star Inn.
Shame the weather wasn't good enough to explore further.
