We were a group of three families and pitched in the bottom field - no shade but more peaceful and a nice view of just tall grass. Despite repeated mix-ups with pitch number bookings, everyone was tolerant and the site peaceful at night. (Shame someone had a rave somewhere over the fields which pounded on until 5 a.m.) A great bonus of the site is that it is attached to a nature trail/tearoom which campers pay a one-off discounted fee to use (£2.50 per adult); we were able to wander in these beautiful woods several times for shade and for the kids to play. Facilities basic, showers dribbly and not always hot, but if you like peaceful rural camping with a great kids' activity on site, this will suit you.

We visited early in September while it was still warm but the spell of sunny weather was just ending. We did not require hookup and so were put in the paddock field beyond the tourers park. The field was very large and only the bottom eastern side appeared to have been prepared for camping. There was loads of space and not too many campers here. The site was basically a field but wooded all round and in a very beatiful area, quite close to Ashdown Forest. The only critism was that those, like ourselves, who had little or no facilities were placed the furthest away from the on site services. The well equiped vans and moterhomes were right on top of them. Lugging water was a chore and it seemed a very long way to the loo. These are shared by the general public most of the day and so difficult to access when needed. The owner was very friendly and wandered round the site chatting to everyone. The farm looked interesting but we opted for a day in Ashdown Forest instead which was lovely. There are no pubs or restuarants within walking distance.

August 2004 We were on the caravan club section (CL) of the farm, which was fairly close to the toilet block - showers were good with plenty of hot water. The whole farm area was very well kept and had some lovely views. The nature trail was very good and kept the kids amused as well as some of the farm ducks who visited our caravan early in the morning! there are as mentioned in earlier reviews Tea rooms, gift shop and a farm museum. The day visitors did not impede on the campsite. On the whole a very enjoyable stay, and it was a very high standard for a CL and unusual in the fact you are sleeping next door to wallabies!!!

August 2004 Caravan Club CL Site - 5 pitches. £10.50 a night.
Site clean with 2 unisex toliets/showers, though you are not allowed to shower between 10am and 5.30pm, which did mean queuing and it wasn't exactly hot, so was not up to the usual caravan club large site standard, but for £10.50 you get what you pay for.
Pitches are right next to the wallabies, which made great viewing, bbq's are allowed. Nature trail was lovely.
Tea room and gift shop, but nowhere to buy milk, bread etc
Would recommend but not for more than a weekend, not that much to do in the area.

April 2004 We camped at Heaven Farm for 2 nights over Easter.
Not many others camping – only one caravan when we arrived and another couple in a tent arrived later in the evening – so plenty of space, although I imagine it gets busy when it’s warmer!
The facilities were excellent and kept spotlessly clean. I really liked the 2 unisex ‘shower rooms’ which had plenty of room to put your stuff while showering etc! There is a shower, basin and toilet in each and also a separate toilet. There’s a gents as well – can’t say much about that but my other half said there’s a shower in there as well and it’s also very clean. There is a nice, sheltered washing up area too and the water was nice and hot.
The adjacent tea room, craft shop and nature walk attracts a lot of visitors but they seemed to stay away from the camping area – apart from looking at the new ducklings (very cute!).
Lots to do in the area – we were visiting the Bluebell Railway which is really excellent. There are also several national trust places nearby and the countryside is very nice. Definitely on the list of sites to go back to!

July 2002
We camped at Heaven Farm last July and had a thoroughly good time.
It's a well kept site, with friendly staff and the added fun of wandering ducks and chickens. The fact that it has a craft/gift shop, tea shop, and small museum means that it attracts coach tours that stop by for coffee breaks, but they don't impinge much on the campers save for taking all the seats in the tea room at certain times!
The tea room itself was good value and it was very pleasant and civilised to sit outside in the sun with cream teas - they also serve light meals and ice creams.
The nature trail and the wallabies were an unusual but welcome provision that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Toilet facilities could get a bit crowded and sometimes waterlogged, but were sizeable (vanity areas rather than shower cubicles), free, and with plentiful hot water. A small freezer in an outbuilding was provided for freezing freezer blocks.
Highly recommended, and there are some great places to visit in the area. We definitely plan to return.
