This is a gem of a site, My partner and I only stayed here for one night but wished we could have stayed for more. It is lovely, very quiet and peaceful.
The shower block is excellent, showers run on tokens that are 25p each for about 5 mins. But this is plenty of time for a nice shower. One negative is that the water is very very hot.
There is not much for kids to do and there is a rule of no ball games which is not a problem for me. So I would say this site is geared towards adults.
One other slight negative is that the tent pitches are a little close together.
All in all a very nice site and we will be returning.

Kings Green Park near Tewkesbury, is a gem of a find.
Easily located only a few minutes from the M50 (J2), Kings Green is within a very quiet little village and aimed at the camper whose after some piece and quiet.
The pitches are of generous size and electric hook-up is available. The toilet and shower facilities were kept spotlessly clean and although the showers used token payment, these provided more than enough time and hot water. Likewise, the washing up facilities were more than suitable and despite the site being well booked, non of the facilities seemed busy when needed.
I'm no fisherman, but there are some small ponds on site and I must admit it was very relaxing to sit and watch fishing folk, or just use the area to sit quietly with a good book - bliss!
Amenities are relatively close, although there's very little in the village itself. Tewkesbury on the door step, plus the glorious Malverns, Worcester etc., or the pleasant area of Symonds Yat within about half an hour drive.
Final point, Kings Green is too quiet for families with children and kid's aren't catered for i.E., no playground etc (hence the low mark for Child Friendliness), but don't let this deter you if you want a decent family 'base' for the area; the kids aren't banned .
An idyllic site and one worth a visit.

This is a nice well laid out site in a countryside setting the owners are very nice and very helpful, the grass pitches are of good size but some are under apple trees so may hear a thud in the night, the pitches are set out in 3 areas so try not to be near the entrance because you do get some road noise.
The toilet blocks are very well kept and very clean there is a charge for the showers but its worth it loads of hot water, and one token is enough to have a longish shower but get undressed before you insert the token also you pay a deposit for the toilet key £5 refunded on departure.
We will certainly return to this site again, there are lots of little rules but they are there to make sure the site remains peaceful and laid back only thing I did not agree with was the £5.00 charge to have a visitor.

As described by other visitors this sites facilities are well maintained and spotless. The toilet and shower block were exceptionally clean and hot water was available anytime and there were no queues for either male or female facilities at any time.
The site does not cater for children but this is made clear in every review we read before going to this site. The ground is very level and ideal for camping under canvas! Out and about the site is close to the Malverns, Gloucester and Hereford with Ross on Wye just slightly further afield. Eating places are limited right around the site but travel into the 'bigger' places and its not a problem. We will be going back to this site without fail as the peace, quiet and tranquility it provides is superb!

Having read the reviews of other people I felt I must add mine. We have stayed at this site three times and have always been made welcome. Toilet block always spotless, and even bank holidays have never waited for showers. The fishing lakes offer plenty of fish for the angler. Yes there are site rules, as with any decent campsite, and there is no playground for children. However I find this site to be a weekend retreat for many people who have touring caravans set here and an ideal site to relax and unwind.

We went here for a quiet weekend away and thats what we got, with fantastic facilities always clean and well run site. well so other people complain at the owners insistence dogs kept on a lead and children and adults to behave themsleves. but hey we all don't want to put up with other peoples noise made by adults or children alike. fantastic location for the malverns walking as well as symmonds yat and forest of Dean. well worth a visit

Came across this site by chance we couldn't find the one we booked. Nice small family run site, very friendly owners and the facilities more than adequate. Toilets/showers spotless and cleaning maintained throughout our stay. Ideal for a nice quiet relaxing break. Would definitely use again.

Beautiful well kept site. Very clean toilets and showers. Unfortunatly nothing for the children to do apart from play on an old tractor. This site is not child friendly, they are not allowed to play on bikes or play ball games. There are lots of site rules. We attempted to go for a walk directly out of the campsite in the evenings to amuse the children but all the public footpaths did not appear to be accessable due to gates being pad locked. During the day a short drive away are the Malvern Hills to explore, something for the whole family to enjoy. Great site for couples

As per the previous reviews we found Jill and Keith friendly, and the toilet block and site very clean. The site was easily accessible and ideal as a base for both walking and sightseeing. However having only 2 showers for the men (same for the ladies) did mean queueing was inevitable. Also the "no ball games" rule was not being enforced. Unfortunately it did feel cramped. We were escorted to a pitch in the Rally Field. Whilst out another tent was pitched only 1 metre away. I would advise you to take earplugs as it can be quite noisy at night with neighbours snoring, the cows mooing, and the dogs at a nearby kennel howling.

What an excellent camp site to stay! Never before have I been to such a well run and clean site before! The owners are so friendly and can not do enough for you. It cost us just over £35 for four of us to stay for 3 nights over Whit Bank Holiday. Which we thought was a very fair price. They Charge a £5 deposit for the toilets which you get back at the end of your stay and 25p for shower tokens (which you only need one of for each use).
There are no parks here for the children to play on but our two children (aged 9 & 5) were quite happy to play on a big mound of grass that was in the middle of the field where you can see them! The toilets were just a few minutes walk away through a gate and were extremely spotless! (and I am very fussy about toilets and showers).
The owners were not at all put off that we were joined by one tent for the first 2 nights and another for the last evening and very helpful on where we could pitch. They did not point out on how far away we should be from one another but then every camper should know that!
Gloucester is only a few miles drive aaand plenty of pubs to choose from on the way should you be feeling thirsty. Most of all it was a very enjoyable holiday and we all feel totally chilled out!
