Turned up with ample room for the caravan whilst booking in. The staff were very helpful, and the shop had all the basic essentials. Feedback that they are looking at stocking basic alcohol in the future as the nearest shop is a 15 mins drive away. The pitches are massive, and very level. They were in the process of making more pitches but did not work on them in the morning.
The setting was lovely next to the hall with plenty of walks-good for the dogs! Nearest village is lovely with plenty of amenities-the recommended Chinese take away was very bland! There were some amazing American static tourers for permanent residents, who took pride in their pitches which added to the overall impact of how clean the site was.
There were no showers or toilets, however were in process of getting temp toilets fitted for the Halloween weekend in October-which we were so impressed are attending this weekend at £20 for a spooky weekend! They are currently getting planning permission for permanent toilets and showers.
Overall this site is a little gem-well worth the £15 with awning, and dog and such a lovely setting that when the toilets are installed, shop stock with alcohol will be our favourite weekend break campsite!Looking forward to the HALLOWEEN weekend!Bakers Ellistown.

We stayed here for 3 Nights over the bank holiday.
The site is very well laid out with plenty of refuse and disposal points around the site which were regularly being cleaned and checked on.
The staff are great, very friendly and helpful.
We will certainly be returning to this site.
It was £17 per night including EHU and there was a £5 deposit if you wanted a key fob for the security barrier.
There are hard standings available and season pitches. Also a large rally field.

Well what can I say a fantastic camp site, so clean and tidy and so so friendly. The staff are so helpfully and friendly and happy. It's very pleasant and a great site to be able to just relax and chill with friends. It was so peaceful. Value for money and I will definitely be coming back I didn't want to go home. I will be recommending to friends, it was not to far to go. I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Have visited this lovely site twice this year and will definitely be returning. The staff are excellent, interested in the site and what the campers think. Facilities are immaculate (even to the point that they have put a hand sanitiser next to the elsan point!) There are no toilets or showers, and a children's play area would be a great idea as there is only a rally field for kids to play on that is quite far from where we were camped and I would not be happy for my kids to be so far from unit. Payment of site fees allows you free access to Stanford Hall (just a stroll through next field). Would definitely recommend.

Arrived on the Friday to Rain, Gales and like winter conditions. Great Sat, Sun Mon.
Excellent site takes up to 123 caravans Some hard standing, well kept and maintained to a very high standard. For dogs an excellent walk through the woods where they can run free. Booked to return in Aug. Well Stocked Shop on Site, News Papers and Gas available. TV reception poor you do need extra Arial, in some areas on the site.
Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Where to begin! was a last minute booking and wasn't expecting much, however was very surprised staff very friendly couldn't do enough for you. The site was busy but so quiet and peaceful and the value for money was fantastic £16 for 3 of us with electric, free fishing and access to Stanford hall, was a great weekend and will definitely use again.
Only downside (and I'm nit picking to find one) is no toilet block but this is happening soon as is wifi and bigger shop. Very happy campers!

Just returned from our first, but not last visit to this excellent site. We had a lovely welcoming from the owners who couldn't do any more for you & were very helpful. The pitches are well maintained & flat there are plenty of bins & water points. Its only 5 mins from the m1/m6/a14 junction so its ideal for a stopover. We will returning next September when the mini show is on again if not before. There are no toilet/shower blocks or no play area for the kids. But for £14 with electric its excellent value for money.

Great site nice and clean, well worth £12. 00. Good dog walking area. Shame we could not go in the woods {as game birds in there for a shoot} Will go in there next time we visit. Lynne loved the hall, had a good walk round it, also went to the church there was a wedding going on. Looked like fun, the dog was worn out but shes only a pup. Was great watching the stars at night will both be back here soon. Good area for walking or horse riding.

We have just spent the bank holiday at this camp site and found that it had everything you need. The managers (Charlotte and Eddie) were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The site was quiet and lovely dog walks. On the Sunday we went to the Hall as they had a classic bike show which again was fabulous.
We would definitely go back to this site again as it was good value and our dogs and son (4) had a great time too.
