Just came back from a weekend at Orleton and I have to say that I think this is the best site we have ever stayed on. Beautiful and quiet setting in the country side which I highly recommend going for walks from the site, as it is truly a beautiful part of the country to go to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The toilet block was very clean and they have a laundry room which was very useful. The site itself is very well kept with lots of flower beds and shrubs. Highly recommend this park and we will be hoping to return very soon.

Have just returned from this lovely site
The touring park is situated in a seperate hedged area at the top of the static park. There are about 20 spaces, nearly all are hardstanding, with probably 12 - 15 taken by seasonal vans. Facilities block was spotless and contains all the necessary requirements. The whole site is immaculately maintained and you can even use the pitch and putt on the static site.
Very quiet and peaceful, nothing to do for children however and dogs have to be exercised off site. The 2 pubs in Orleton village are well worth a visit, especially The Boot for Sunday lunch, and the local shop is well stocked.
Ideal site when visiting the area for walking or sightseeing. Highly recommended.

This site is a little gem, however it is deathly quiet and has no shop or any facilities other than toilet /shower and the usual basics. It's mainly a static site with many retired owners about 16 touring pitches. All on gravel hard standings. Immaculate in all respects and a pleasure to behold and a credit to the owner. I would describe this as a site for "Chillers" and at times you can hear a pin drop. Children are not even seen never mind heard however it's not an adult only site, however there is no play area and nothing for them to do at all. I have been 3 times this year and I love it. The birdsong is the loudest thing on the site. Pub serving good food is a 20 min walk away. Ludlow only a short drive. The village of Orleton is on the doorstep but it's so laid back that you cannot get a newspaper until 9:30 AM. As a base to discover Shropshire and the Marches it's recommended. Or just to sleep and read. However if a fun filled non stop holiday destination is your bag and you have a gang of kids in tow steer clear.

Immaculate mainly static caravan site but has 16 tourer / tent pitches. Friendly and helpful owner. We booked the night before to stay for the weekend, 2 adult and 2 children. The only downside is that there isn't any playground for children but on the plus side, you can hear a pin drop after 11pm! The showers are OK and all perfectly clean. Lots to see in the area.
