What a lovely location and at £35 per night including gas and electric you cant go wrong. The only static they have is quite old but very clean and all the equipment you require ie tv cooker etc. The owners are two of the friendliest people I have come across in my travels. The only thing you bring is food, bedding and of course your clothes! We are returning may 2007

Jan 2004 A great site - run by Reg and Joan Almond - two of the nicest people you could meet! Fantastic views over Bassenthwaite Lake - nice clean facilities, should you wish to use them. Will certainly visit again.....
