We stayed for 4 nights, over the Easter weekend, the campsite is a lovely site well maintained and the staff could not be more helpful (even offering a drink when we were putting up the tent!) The showers and toilets were always clean, and always hot water. The washing up facilities were also clean and always hot water. We had a large tent with electric that cost £10 per night, we also had a visitor come during our stay, again staff were very helpful and even let them pull up next to our tent. Would totally recommend and hope to return here again in the future!

A really nice little site about 5-10 minutes drive from the small town of Swaffham that has a selection of shops and a supermarket. We stayed midweek for 2 nights, it was not overcrowded. One block of combined toilets and showers, they were nice and clean, warm too. Not much for the children to do apart from explore the wooded areas. Norwich can reached in just over an hours drive as can Cromer via Fakenham.
Owner very friendly. I would return again.

Spent an enjoyable few nights here. Site is well maintained and the toilets are clean. On site management are friendly and helpful. The local pub serves up reasonable food, and Thetford Forest Centre is well worth a visit; Beer festival on while we were there so an added bonus. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely site, well maintained, friendly staff, and reasonably priced at £7.50 for a large tent with hook up. Will almost certainly be visiting again. Toilets / showers were clean at all times and hot water was always available. No real facilities for children, but we didn't take ours with us, and children that were on site didn't seem to have any problems keeping themselves amused.

We spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The warden was very friendly, the site was well maintained, and there was plenty of space between the pitches. Old Windmill pub in Great Cressingahm did an excellent pub lunch. We hired cycles in Thetford forest and had a very enjoyable day exploring the trails.

Basic, excellent campsite with very friendly owners. Although light on facilities (no shop, in particular) this is a very well run and clean campsite at an excellent price (we stayed two nights, two adults and two children, and only paid about £15). As other reviewers have noted, no children's playground as such, but there is a lovely wooded area that they played in, and beyond that a field where games can be played. If you bring a fishing rod you're guaranteed to catch a few tiddlers, at no extra cost. We'll definitely visit again.

June 2005 A lovely campsite in a secluded area. The pitching area is sandy which, as we arrived in the wet stayed in the wet and pretty much left in the wet, was great. The site and grass stayed drained and did not turn into a mud bath. Very pretty woodlands and loads to do nearby. Well managed with an excellent toilet block.
Only suggestion I have is this - please leave details in the laundry hut or somewhere for late arrivers. We came late and it was not immediately obvious where we should report to. The house was definitely marked private. So we drove around a couple of times and then decided just to pitch. This turned out to be fine - but then the site was not full. A note would have been helpful. Otherwise I cannot fault it - excellent.
PS - Children really enjoy the small woodland.

August 2004 This is a quiet site with good toilet and shower blocks and decent hot water washing up sinks. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There are no swings etc for kids but there is loads of room for them to explore in the woods alongside the site. The recent addition of more electric hook-ups means that there is less room for campers in the main field but there are some lovely little spots well away from t.v's and satellite dishes at the top of the field. Play ball games in the main field at your peril..you get a mild reprimand...otherwise , no real rules , apart from courtesy. We must have visited this site dozens of times over the years. It is a pleasure to visit .
