Good site in typically picturesque Scottish scenery. Took my Australian friends there for a week. The road in and out via Pitlochry is a pain, everywhere you need to go is +20 miles for the road each way. We had sun, hail rain and snow in the same week, but to be fair, March is still winter in this part of Scotland. Great for walking and cycling, but take tick treatment for any dogs. My pitch got pretty waterlogged after two days of solid rain, and my friends turned into a quagmire but reception refunded the awning costs. Mind you, like most caravanners I think charging for an awning in the first place is a downright cheek. The clubhouse was great for the kids - if a bit too much "Hi-de-Hi" for the adults - and the entertainment was typical holiday park fare. The bar prices were a bit nippy too, but the problem is that you're a captive audience, where else are you going to go? Toilet facilities were fair and warm. Whilst we were there another time there was a scare that contaminants had got into the water supply so the shop was supplying free bottles of water to everyone. We all enjoyed it, even if after a week of travelling up and down the windy narrow B road I was car sick and bruised!

This was our second visit to this park - it is great for the start and end of the season when you are not guaranteed the weather. The site is very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful the touring vans have their own dedicated space next to a small wooded area for exploring and the pond for fishing. The shop provided ample provisions for the week away. The toilet block was spotless and warm. The entertainment for the young children was fantastic and they loved every minute. The pool was warm and clean although the toilets in the main building were smelly and could do with an upgrade (this is the only negative about the place). The outdoor park is situated in the beer garden and is very large and in good repair catering for all age groups. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to take advantage of the area on our bikes. You really cant beat the scenery or location. Will definitely return in the autumn.

We had a lovely time there. The toilet blocks where warm and clean, my youngest son enjoyed having his late night bath. The entertainment was ok we had a few laughs. The location is beautiful and its even better when you get good weather, rained the whole time we were there ha ha. We will be going back in the summer.

July 2005 Can't fault the location or scenery, (except the 9 mile B road approach). All the touring pitches are hard standing (tenters take strong pegs) and all are located under a run of electric pylons which whistle in the wind and buzz in the wet. Club and pool/sauna v.good - bar usual park prices (ouch). Onsite shop fair and well stocked - nearest shops + petrol 10 miles away in Pitlochry. Loos/showers ok - lights are on movement sensors and timers so extended sitins can be dark affairs. We paid £26/night peak season - 'van + family of 4.

June 2005 Just back from this site truly amazing. This is a Parkdean site so you have everything on site for you. I paid 62.50 for 4 nights incl awning and electrics etc I think this was a very good deal and I will def go back. The only problem I found was the roads going into it was narrow and wind. The bath water was running brown but showers were fine.
There is a fishing bit just beside the tourers (catch and release) - this is all free. Never made it to the swimming pool or the entertainment at night but thoroughly enjoyed

june 2004 I've just returned from a four night stay at the Tummel Valley park over Whit in my motorhome and can thoroughly recommend it. The site itself was very clean and in a superb setting. I was amazed that seemingly in the middle of nowhere and 13 miles from the metropolis of Pitlochry there was a well stocked shop, good sized free pool and sauna, kiddies club, playground, restaurant, snack bar, take-away. I wonder how they managed to secure such star turns as "Groovy Train" and similar "club" acts in such an isolated place, I can only think that Vegas couldn't match their offer (deep fried Haggis). Even if that's not your scene there's loads to do in the area, walking, cycling, rafting to amuse adults and kids at heart. It even managed to get the approval of two teenage girls. On the strength of this performance I'm going to try their site at Devon. (take note Parkdean I'll be expecting the VIP treatment down south).
