As we live in Cumbria we needed to find some where to leave our motorhome while we went on a cruise from Southampton.
We arrive a few days early and the owners found us a secure hard standing with hookup and sorted us a taxi to take us to the docks.
The walking from the site was brilliant into the forests with ponies all over.
On our return from the cruise we then moved to Poole Ferry terminal with our van to get the ferry to France.
So can recommend this site for either long term or overnight nothing is to much trouble for the owners.

We stayed here for just one night on the way to catch a ferry to the IoW. Delightful spot, surrounded by trees with great walks. Very warm welcome from the (then new) owners.
There's a large area of hard standing that would be handy in wet weather, and an even larger area of level grass where you can park wherever you like.
The extensions to the electric hookups were a great idea.

We have just spent lovely week at Martins farm. Drove past the farm initially as the sign is back off the road and slightly obscured by the hedge but we were told that the Forestry Commision will not allow the sign to be put by the road, so if you are visiting look out for the thatched cottage on the right. Received a very warm welcome from the owners and their dogs.Water, bins and disposal easy to reach and we were offered an extention to our electric cable if we needed it. Village shop easy walk and opposite the entrance to the New Forest. Saw pigs, highland cattle, goats and ponies. Warm and sunny week. Easy ride to North Dorset as well as Southampton area. We will definitely be going back so we can explore Dorset.

Just come back from having a four day stay at Martins Farm and it was lovely.Quiet and very private. The sun shone for the four days we were there (Nov) and each morning there was a brilliant white frost all over the field. The birds sang every morning and I seen the fatest Robin ever! Fantastic walking area and the pigs and horses roaming in the New Forest were a real treat to watch.even seen a few deer Will def go back.
