 Bude camping and caravanning club site gets 10/10 on every level. The toilets were very clean and the site had won an award for 2007 for the cleanest loo. The games room was well equipped as well. For 12 pounds you could hire the pool table for an hour and if all the equipment was returned in good condition you got ten pounds back. (It was 5 pounds for an hour with the ping pong table with 3 pounds back.) The T.V room was well thought out and had board games for the kids.
The staff were always very helpful, cheerful and had a good sense of humor. The shop was small and had a few essential items but other than this it was just the perfect family site. They also had a small well looked after play area for the kids. The surrounding area was a good base for visiting anywhere in the beautiful north Cornwall area. Overall one of the best sites we've been to.

A pretty site, well laid out and the amenities are spotless as with all C+CC sites.
A couple of gripes. One was the drainage, but to be fair we camped only a week after the Boscastle tragidy, but it rained heavy during one night, and we were as dry as a bone. Until about 4 hours after it stopped raining, then it started with a few airbubbles 'popping' from the grass, followed swiftly by a good inch of water rising up out of the ground swamping the groundsheet, it just didnt drain away.or rather it DID drain away from the pretty scenic feilds you get to view, into the campsite!
The second gripe, is the fact that the site is situated at the side of a layby on the A39 and that road is FAST! cars were screaming past all night, and with only a hedge for soundproofing.
The childrens play area is a bit small, only a slide/climing frame and a couple of swings, but its contained in its own little paddock surrounded in hedges, it was clean and safe looking.
The pub was a good 15 minutes walk away. Or 30 minutes stagger, and the supermarket is about 6 or 7 miles away, but easy to find
All in all a very tidy site, nice and level with good views, just pick your weather first :)
